‘Life After Lockup’: Daonte Sierra Back for New Season — Now with Lindsey
Life After Lockup returns with Daonte Sierra trying yet again to find love with an inmate, this time with former cast member Lindsey Downs. Both tried and failed on prior seasons of the WEtv show.
Life After Lockup: Daonte Sierra Moves on After Heartbreak
Daonte tried to make it work with former inmate Nicolle Bradley. But things went the other way quickly and Nicolle ended up marrying one of her exes from prison, Tia Simmons. Will Daonte finally get a happy ending?
The new season finds Daonte Sierra back for another chance at love. Fans cringed when he famously showed up to the wedding of his ex, Nicolle Simmons.
During their season of Love After Lockup, Nicolle quickly stepped out with not one but two of her exes. And Daonte failed to win her back. Going so far as to disrupt her wedding with her current wife Tia Simmons.
It was Daonte Sierra who was left behind. And Nicolle was the second inmate he’d failed to seal the deal with once they were on the outside. However, he didn’t give up.
And is back on the upcoming season of Life After Lockup with another former castmate Lindsey Downs. Proving when it comes to finding love behind bars, he’s a repeat offender. She has a failed relationship from the show too.
Will Lindsey Downs Be the Third Charm for Daonte?
Lindsey Downs appeared on LAL in 2020 with Scott Bradshaw. He was her pen pal while in prison. But once she got out of prison, things didn’t work. Scott had a home for them to live in.
But she felt it wasn’t up to the standard he promised. The pair fought about everything. And she claimed he went through her things and used copies of things she’d written against her. Now she’ll have a second chance on Life After Lockup.

Lindsey trashed Scott’s office after a fight. He threw her things out and it was over for the couple. Since then, Lindsey returned to jail for various offenses.
She returned to a dating site while back in jail. And struck up a match with Daonte Sierra after she reached out on social media. He was ready to take a chance again in spite of being hurt. So, the couple will return for a fresh start with each other on Life After Lockup.
Life After Lockup: Leaving the Past Behind
Will the couple be able to leave their LAL pasts behind and start something new? Fans of the WEtv show are anxious to see. Especially since breakup rumors abound on social media ahead of the show airing.
Daonte teased a clip of the new season recently on social media. But there aren’t really any recent pictures or mentions of the couple being together in any recent posts. So, fans will have to tune in to see what plays out.

The Life After Lockup trailer also shows a different man picking Lindsey up at her release from prison. Lindsey’s first order of business is to call her daughter Miley Grace to let her know she’s out.
Several couples from season’s past are returning for the new season including fan favorites Brittany and Marcelino Santiago. As well as Shawn Osborne and Sara Isaacs who may be in for a surprise visit from his ex Destinie Folsom. Be sure to tune in Friday nights on WEtv!
