Is Wes Ramsey Leaving ‘General Hospital’ – Peter August Dead & Gone?

General Hospital fans are asking if Wes Ramsey is out as Peter August given his dire injury in the stairwell this week. This bad outcome for Henrik Faison has been teased for many days with no reveal of whether he’ll survive or who shoved him. So, is Peter out at the ABC soap?

General Hospital Comings & Goings: Is “Cheap Imitation” Faison Exiting the Soap?

On the recent GH episode, Peter August’s obsession, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), served him so many epic burns, he should be in intensive care. Among the justified insults she slung is that Peter’s not a real person, but someone he invented. And that he’s really Henrik Faison.

Then, she told Peter that he’s not as bad as his dad, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) on General Hospital. Maxie said at least his father was an evil genius. And she called Henrik an imitation and cheap version of his wicked dad. Maxie reduced the villain to tears in minutes.

At present on General Hospital, Peter August thinks wicked fake-Chloe Jennings (Kimberly J. Brown) he hired stole his baby. Maxie sold that lie very well. Plus, he knows he’s facing criminal charges for murdering the real Chloe – and several others – since Maxie taped his confession.

So, after having himself a little cry on the stairs, Peter decided on a hasty exit, via helicopter, from the roof of General Hospital. However, we know it doesn’t go that way. GH teased fans all week with an image of him bleeding on the stairs. So, is this the bitter end for Faison Jr.?

Is Wes Ramsey Done at GH?

Things definitely do not look good for Peter August lying on the landing at General Hospital. So far, we saw two people near him. One is clearly Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) checking his pulse. And the other stands nearby – clearly that’s Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) – who caused the fall – on accident.

There’s a sizable puddle of blood under Peter’s head. Lucky for him, he took that nasty fall at General Hospital. So, if they get him some help right away, he’ll likely survive. But a head wound like that could leave him amnesiac, brain-addled, or other nasty outcomes.

Currently, for the next week, the official GH spoilers released from ABC center on other characters – not Peter August. Of course, that’s likely intentional to encourage everyone to think he’s dead. But it’s doubtful that Peter hops up and shakes off that terrible-looking injury.

Now, on the latest General Hospital, Liz and Finn apparently dumped his “dead” body. Which is bad for Finn, because Peter’s the only one that can provide the serum or cure for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). So, he wanted the villain alive – at least for now.

Peter August Leaving General Hospital?

One sign that Peter will survive this unfortunate fall at GH is that Wes Ramsey inked his contract at the soap to debut in mid-November 2017. While the network can cut anyone when they want, they usually write cast out at contract renewal time. That’s still six months away.

Another clue that Peter August stays on General Hospital is that they need villains – and he’s a second-generation legacy bad guy with deep ties to other legacy characters including his aunt Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and baby mama Maxie and her family.

Plus, there’s still the storyline to play out about Maxie hiding her baby with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Peter thinks not-Chloe kidnapped his child. So, we’d expect him to recuperate on General Hospital then try and find the baby.

So, we’ll have to wait and see what is the fate of Peter August – because it seemed a quick exit on GH. Liz got rid of him with Finn and he’s just gone. Will someone find him and he gets himself out of this mess?

UPDATE: Yes, the villain survived and thanks to Victor Cassadine, he got to wreak more havoc. Finally, he’s arrested but then Victor again helps him evade justice.

Now, Maxie Jones convinced Peter August to leave town, but she has to go with him. And he forced her to leave their daughter Louise at a fire station to be found.

So, will Wes Ramsey leave GH for good this time? As of now, his name’s off the end credits, but that happened before. This, we can’t count out Peter for good. And the ABC soap loves to keep its villains…
