Counting On‘s Jessa Duggar Seewald took her kids to see her sister Jill Duggar Dillard. And fans think it’s an olive branch after Jill told fans that many of her siblings don’t support her life choices.
Counting On: Jill Duggar Dillard Doesn’t Feel Support from Family
Jill Duggar Dillard from the TLC series Counting On addressed some of her lifestyle choices. The main choices people asked about were the choices to wear pants, get her nose pierced, and to cut her hair. Everyone wanted to know why she did it and how her family felt about it.
Jill told fans that she just wanted to do those things. And that since they left Counting On that they could do whatever they wanted to do. And it wasn’t like they were being “interrogated” every time they did something.
After Jill Duggar said, “interrogated,” she took it back. And she said, “Asked about it a lot” instead. She’s likely referring to how production asks the cast questions multiple times. They do this so they can get the best angle on the questions. And sometimes it’s to add a little extra drama.
Jill Says Siblings Aren’t Supportive
One of the questions Jill from Counting On answered was about family support. Jill said, “Not everyone is supportive. I have to understand that I have to be okay with that.” She said specifically that some of her siblings don’t approve of the way she lives her life.
Jill didn’t name any of the Counting On siblings that didn’t support her. But you could tell that she was sad she wasn’t a big part of their lives. Jill Duggar doesn’t live far from her family in Arkansas, and she does get family visitors every once in a while.
Jessa Duggar Seewald Visits Sister Jill Duggar
Today those visitors were Jessa Duggar Seewald from Counting On and her three children. Jessa brought Ivy Seewald, Henry Seewald, and Spurgeon Seewald over to see their Aunt Jill and their cousins Israel Dillard and Samuel Dillard. It looks like the kids had a great time. And the two sisters got to spend some time bonding. In fact, Jessa bought her sis a pumpkin spice latte.
Counting On: Sisters at Odds?
Right after Jill made her video about her unsupportive family, her sisters Jessa Duggar and Jinger Duggar Vuolo did a video together. In fact, Jinger interviewed Jessa for a podcast as well as the video. They spoke about how close they were and how they would hang out when Jinger came back to Arkansas.
Some people think the Counting On cast is trying to do damage control. But others believe the videos and audio were completely unrelated. Whatever the case, Jessa came over to see Jill, and if anything, it seemed like she wanted to make sure Jill knew she cares about her.
It is public knowledge that there is drama in the family. But that doesn’t mean that Jill Duggar can’t have a relationship with Jessa Duggar.
