‘Big Brother’ Veto Meeting: Kyle Nominated but Terrance is Trying to Evict Taylor Instead
Big Brother 24 is a hotbed of angst and Kyle Capener is at the center of the controversy — yet Terrance Higgins is lobbying on his behalf. The veto meeting saw karma come for the jobless basement dweller, but his buddy’s still covering for him.
There was a house meeting last night to address Michael Bruner‘s accusation that Kyle suggested a white alliance. But after the veto meeting, there’s a nominee swap and a surprising advocate blocking an eviction.
Big Brother Veto Meeting: Kyle Capener Renominated – Veto Used to Save Brittany
The veto meeting was today, and Matt Turner was leveraged to renominate Kyle Capener once Michael Bruner used his golden power of veto. The big question was whether he’d save Brittany Hoopes or Taylor Hale.
If he really wanted to show his commitment to diversity in the Big Brother house after exposing Kyle, he’d use the PoV to save Taylor — not Brittany. But, in the end, he opted to pull his F2 partner Britt off the chopping block.
If you watch the feeds, you may know that Michael told Turner they’re good moving forward with him if he’d renom Kyle once he used the veto. Yesterday, while cam talking on the BB Live Feeds, Turner said he’d “definitely” nominate him at the veto meeting.
Now, the veto meeting happened, and Michael pulled Brittany to safety. That left Taylor on the block, and then Kyle was nominated to sit beside her. Incredibly, Terrance Higgins wants Taylor out and the TikTokker to stay — despite what the latter did…
BB24 Target for Next Week – Michael Bruner’s Game Over?
Turner began the week as Big Brother HoH with a plan to take out a big target — aka Michael. The HoH nominated Taylor and Brittany with the hope that their lawyer pal wouldn’t get drawn to play veto and could be backdoored.
But his target played and won the PoV. Then, he planned to renom Terrance or Alyssa as a pawn to assure Taylor’s eviction. All that’s scrapped now. And Kyle had already pressured him to pursue another target and leave his showmance (and Terrance) alone.
Before the veto meeting, Alyssa talked game with Monte and Terrance. And Terrance and the others set their sights on Michael. It’s important to recall that he was already a target because of all his comp wins.
But his role in the Big Brother house blow-up didn’t help his cause. So, several houseguests look forward to voting out Kyle Capener this week. And unless Michael wins HoH, he’ll be the prime target next week.
Will Terrance Save Kyle’s Big Brother Game? He’s Trying to Keep Him Over Taylor
Last night, Kyle Capener considered self-evicting and hid in the Diary Room. Our source at CBS said he had a breakdown and was bawling. But production convinced him to stay.
Then, there was reportedly a volatile BB24 house meeting. Rumor is he screwed over Turner and exposed his alliances. And Terrance Higgins got hot. In fact, Terrance felt he had to apologize to Turner.
Then, at the Big Brother veto meeting, Kyle acknowledged his race-based presumptions and apologized. Now — shockingly — Terrance is lobbying for votes to keep him.
Yes, Terrance wants to vote out a woman of color and keep the guy who discussed an all-white alliance. He chatted with Monte, who wasn’t receptive. He suggested keeping Kyle as a teachable moment…
Terrance is a Class A Dummy. He'll always follow the most toxic person to the end. He did it with Daniel & it's no surprise he's doing it with Kyle. I'm sure whatever he said in the fight last night was performative. He's the most performative person in the house.#BB24 #BBLF https://t.co/ZXRgTan897 pic.twitter.com/s9OmqKQHv8

But Monte likes Taylor and told Terrance that the guy can do his learning after he leaves the house. Now, Terrance needs three votes against Tay to save Kyle. Houseguests voting are Michael, Brittany, Monte, Alyssa, and Terrance. The latter two will vote to evict Taylor.
But the other three should send Kyle packing despite Terrance’s efforts. We’ll see this veto meeting play out on CBS this week. Until Thursday’s eviction, Terrance Higgins might keep advocating to save his buddy.
And we hoping to see the unedited house meeting that the network blocked from the Live Feeds. Fans are upset and accused CBS/Big Brother of protecting Kyle by blocking feeds whenever race is mentioned.
Update: Last night on the BB Live Feeds, Terrance sat Kyle down to educate him on race-sensitive things. Turner was there at the start of it but checked himself out immediately before it got too deep.
