‘Big Brother’ Confirmed: Kyle on the Block & Turner Safe in Huge Shakeup [UPDATED]

Big Brother spoilers from the backyard preview a huge shakeup with Kyle Capener now on the block and Matt Turner safe — at least according to leaks coming from the CBS reality show.

UPDATE: This is now confirmed. What we cite as “rumor” below is confirmed by the Live Feeds that finally returned for the backyard Dyre Fest crew.

Who’s on the Block on Big Brother – Kyle Capener Nominated as Matt Turner Saved

Outside at the Dyre Fest, Terrance Higgins is running the show as Head of Household. But with just five houseguests out in the yard, options for nomination were limited, and the Power of Veto was critically important. So, what’s happening out there?

Usually, the Big Brother Live Feeds offers tons of insight before the aired episodes. But because of some hiccups with this Split House Twist, we’re not getting feeds from the yard. It’s been aimed only at Big Brochella inside the house.

Big Brother: Matt Turner - Terrance Higgins

Inside, the PoV went unused, and Monte Taylor and Jasmine Davis remain on the block Outside, though there might be an even bigger twist. Reportedly, Terrance used his power of veto and pulled his pal Matt Turner off the chopping block.

But the bigger news is that he put Kyle Capener up as the replacement nominee. If true, that means Kyle is at risk with Turner and Alyssa voting. If they split the vote, it’ll be down to Terrance for a tie-breaker. Could the ex-Mormon actually be sent to the Big Brother jury?

Joseph Abdin on the BB24 Block – Will He Survive Week 7?

There have been some shady happenings in the past week. First, word is that Michael Bruner whispered to Terrance that he should target Joseph Abdin. That came after the HoH comp and before the schoolyard pick for sides. But it didn’t show on the episode.

However, that chat was discussed on the Big Brother Live Feeds later. Michael wants strong, smart player Joseph out. And he knows he can use Kyle Capener as a meat shield since he’s a bigger target. The guy wins comps — and is in a showmance.

BB24: Joseph Abdin

But did the BB wall yellers wreck Kyle’s game? After they split in two groups and before the nomination ceremony, he betrayed his alliance. At the first moment, he sat down with the HoH and told him all about The Leftovers but minimized his role in it.

He painted a picture of Monte and Joseph as the head of this Big Brother alliance. That fed directly into Terrance nominating Joseph. But then he also nominated his friend Turner. After the LO reveal, fans encouraged wall yellers to expose the betrayal. But Turner knows.

Big Brother Eviction Rumors – Joseph or Kyle Exit – How Will Turner Vote?

If the leak is true and Terrance put Kyle Capener on the block, that doesn’t mean Joseph is safe. First, there’s no way Alyssa Snider votes to evict Kyle. Second, he and Matt Turner are close and have talked about a Final 2 in the past.

But, if Kyle’s on the block and the vote splits between Turner and Alyssa, it’ll be Terrance that gets blood on his hands. That might help with fallout from the Big Brother inside group. The LOs inside already said they won’t believe the lies if Joseph’s evicted.

But if Turner and Kyle cook up a story blaming Terrance, that might work. But it’ll only work if the DJ doesn’t reveal that he knows about their big alliance. And he’s not that great at keeping secrets. So, we’ll see.

For now, the leak that Terrance used the veto, saved Matt Turner, and renominated Kyle is unconfirmed. But even if it’s true, don’t get too excited if you want to see Kyle Capener evicted. It’s not likely to come this week on BB24. He and Turner are both likely safe.

UPDATE: Joseph pitched to Alyssa and Terrance why they should save him. Terrance said he’d vote to keep him if Turner will split the vote. But the DJ’s lying. The plan is solidly to vote out Joseph.
