Akinyi Obala wonders why the movies make it seem so easy to buy a home in America. Benjamin Taylor tells the 90 Day Fiance reality star that everything she sees on TV isn’t always how it happens.
Benjamin reveals that he and his wife are struggling financially. He had to spend a lot of money on traveling, the fiancé visa and their wedding. So, he doesn’t have the savings he hoped to have to buy a home.
Benjamin & Akinyi Face Pregnancy Difficulties
When Akinyi Obala came to America, she told Benjamin Taylor that she didn’t want to be intimate until they were married. So, since tying the knot, they’ve been having fun in the bedroom every night.
Akinyi wants to start a family with Benjamin. But, the 90 Day Fiance duo has been having a hard time getting pregnant. Benjamin says that they are “making love” every night.
So, Akinyi thought she would have already been preparing to push out a baby by now. Yet, she’s not even pregnant. She says that her husband hasn’t “fertilized the seed.”
Benjamin suggests that they should see a fertility doctor. But, Akinyi feels that not being stable might be putting a lot of stress on her and causing her not to get pregnant. She thinks her eggs are hiding until her hubby buys her a house.
90 Day Fiance Couple Visit Fertility Clinic
After five months of trying, Benjamin Taylor goes to a fertility clinic with Akinyi Obala to see if they’re on the right path. He has to give them a sample and then return a week later to get the results.
A week after Benjamin gave his sample, he and Akinyi speak to the fertility doctor. This appointment could change the 90 Day Fiance couple’s lives. It could also affect how they move forward with starting a family.
The TLC couple finds out that everything is normal. Their doctor, Dr. Vinay Gunnala, knows that it’s hard to accept that it hasn’t happened yet. But, he suggests that they continue to try for the next few months.
Akinyi feels relief when the doctor tells them that it typically takes six months to a year to get pregnant. They have been trying because their family and friends have been putting pressure on them. But, now they feel that everyone can wait.
