Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters talks to her fans a lot about her life. She often gives life updates about herself and gives a lot of her supporter’s insight into her past. Previously, she talked to her listeners about what her childhood dream job was.
While growing up, Tammy says to her 1000-lb Sisters fans she wanted to be a pediatrician. However, she admits that she wasn’t completely sure if this is something she wanted to chase after. But, Tammy confidently knew she wanted to have a career involving children.
Yet, she states she ended up not going to school. The reason why she didn’t chase after her dreams because she claims she’s “slow learning.” Now, Tammy admits she wants to become a “massage therapist.”

Huge Weight Loss News Comes Back Around
In a 2015 video Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters took together in, Tammy stands in front of the camera. Amy’s behind the camera filming and excitedly reveals to the viewers that Tammy’s back home.
Then, Tammy tells her fans that she’s down “141” pounds. Amy shows her sister’s entire body, showing off a slimmer physique. Also, the 1000-lb Sisters star Tammy is standing up by herself without any help from a walker or a wheelchair.
1000-lb Sisters: Living with Family Isn’t Working for Tammy
In a clip from 2018, Tammy Slaton talks to her 1000-lb Sisters supporters about her weight. She claims she wants to wait until after her birthday to start working on making better eating decisions. However, she then clarifies that she’d really rather wait until after she moves out of the home she’s currently staying in to focus on getting healthier.
But, she then admits moving out of her family’s house doesn’t look like it’s happening “any time soon.” Next, she remarks she’d “rather die than be living here.” However, Tammy claims she doesn’t have anywhere else to go, so she’s currently stuck.
Tammy of 1000-lb Sisters never reveals which family member’s home she’s living in. Also, she claims she “cannot live with family.” She gets tearful as she looks off-camera. Then, the TLC star says “we’ll kill each other” when talking about living with her family.
TLC Star Talks Family Genetics
Another reason why Tammy Slaton of 1000-lb Sisters says she struggles with her weight is because of her family genetics. At first, when she discusses the reason why she’s overweight, she explains that she gets a lot of hate comments online.
Yet, Tammy says her family genetics is a part of the reason why she struggles with losing weight. Then, she clarifies how her biological father weighed 700 pounds and her oldest brother weighed nearly 1,000 pounds. Also, she says her mother and all of her other siblings are overweight too.
Hopefully, Tammy Slaton is living in a home that she feels safer and happier in during Season 3 of 1000-lb Sisters.
