Tammy Slaton & Jerry Sykes Finally Meet In Person on 1000-lb Sisters
1000-lb Sisters has Tammy Slaton love-struck by Jerry Sykes in Season 2 of the TLC show. Jerry was introduced at the end of Season 1 when Amy Slaton got her weight loss surgery. He met with Tammy in a hotel and spent the night with her while Amy was at the hospital. Fans remember him from 1000-lb Sisters and how excited Tammy was to see him. This was also when he had the chance to meet her family.
Jerry and Amy got along well enough, but things got tense when it came to Tammy’s weight. Her family learned that Jerry and Tammy met on a social media group for plus-sized women. They then thought that there was a chance that Jerry wasn’t going to help or support Tammy with her weight loss because he wanted her big. But Tammy insisted he supported her.

1000-lb Sisters shows Tammy Slaton struggling to get her weight in line. She really shocks fans when they find out what her eating habits actually are. Amy Slaton says Tammy ate 32 meals in two days and found a bag of candy wrappers in the trash. Also, her brother Chris Combs found out that Tammy was drinking 32-ounce milkshakes. Amy and Chris team up, saying how all this had to be because Jerry Sykes was enabling her.
TLC fans were surprised that Jerry would do all that and take care of Tammy because they had seemingly just met in person. He was cleaning her wounds and helping around the house. But has Tammy actually known Jerry much longer than she lets on? By the time Season 2 ended, Jerry had been coming to Tammy’s house a few times. This also shocked fans because they thought this would be a one-trip thing for the show.

1000-lb Sisters’ Tammy Slaton came out right before the end of Season 2 and announced that she and Jerry Sykes had decided to take a break. Then confirmed an actual breakup. Jerry also made it clear that they have split, and that seemed like the end of their relationship. Tammy looks to have moved on to a new man Phillip Redmond. But, they’ve since broken up. Fans are hoping to learn more on her relationship status by Season 3.
But are things with Jerry not over? Also, how long was she actually with Jerry? Tammy says in February of 2018, she was in the hospital. She explains how hard that was and then says something unexpected. Fans finally see how far back Jerry goes.

Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters, in a video from her past, recalls her time inside the hospital. And then she says that she and Jerry are kind of back together. Is this Jerry Sykes? Yes. Tammy explains that she and Jerry have known each other for eight years. She says she is excited to reunite with him and gushes about how much she loves him. She talks about how great he is, and this is shocking for fans.

This means that Tammy and Jerry were dating before the show aired. Now that they are apart, will there be a chance they get back together in the future, given their history? Only time will tell with these two.
