1000-lb Sisters personality Tammy Slaton has had her life put at risk because of her weight. Her family makes it very clear that they fear she doesn’t have much time left. Also, her doctors are saying this.
Over the years, Tammy has tried many diet techniques to try to get back on track. Before the fame of her TV reality show was the fame of her social media.
Tammy shared videos of her diet tips and then a Mukbang of her eating fried chicken. Being 665 pounds, it’s safe to say Tammy never found a diet that worked for her. But that doesn’t mean that she didn’t feel the effects of some of these techniques. She even says that one of the pills she tried caused her so much pain she couldn’t leave her home. In fact, she couldn’t even attend her sister’s wedding because of the pain.

1000-lb Sisters features Tammy Slaton and her sister Amy Slaton. The show focuses on their ups and downs as they try and figure out how to lose weight and become healthy. Many fans may remember the romantic wedding that happened between Amy and her husband, Michael Halterman, in the show’s first season. They got remarried for all to see.
What some fans don’t know is the first wedding was missing a few guests. This includes Tammy. But says even though she missed it, she had a good reason. And she had no intention of making her sister upset. However, her body was in so much pain she couldn’t go to the wedding. She explains to fans the heartbreaking truth of it all.

Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters reveals that she was not able to go to her sister’s first wedding due to the fact that she was sick. Tammy tells all and spills the beans about some diet pills she was taking. It turns out that they were not the pills for her. She wanted to lose weight, but it seemed like at a high cost. Tammy, already being high-risk, did not want to go to the wedding and make her health worse.
She said that the pills caused her to have terrible stomach cramping. And unfortunately, all this happened at around the same time as her sister’s wedding. Tammy is currently trying another way to lose weight that is better than any pill. It has been said she is in a facility that is helping her get better.
