1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton is getting closer to leaving rehab and getting that weight loss surgery that she has been working towards. Slaton’s significant weight drop has her weighing in at around 534 pounds. While it is still a far cry from her goal weight, it does mean one other important thing.

Tammy Slaton is currently estimated to be around 35-40 pounds from being able to leave rehab and get weight loss surgery. The 1000-Lb Sisters stars physician, Dr. Eric Smith, has an agreement with her.

Dr. Smith promises Tammy he will make arrangements for her to undergo surgery if she drops below 500 pounds while in rehab. Slaton’s rehab journey has not been without many struggles for the TLC star.

One day into her rehab stent, Tammy was rushed to the hospital due to experiencing breathing difficulties. But, to date, other than the usual struggles and roadblocks that come with losing weight, Tammy is now reportedly back on track.

Recently, she may have had her tracheostomy tube capped. So that could be one more step to getting the operation. Although there will be a Season 4, filming has not started yet. Are they waiting for her surgery to happen first?

Per the Medical News Daily, losing hair during weight loss is a normal and temporary side effect. Stress on the body or lack of nutrients may be the cause. The article also reveals that hair loss typically occurs around 3-4 months after rapid weight loss and can last up to 6 months.

The medical term is known as Telogen Effluvium. The hair loss symptoms generally within 6-9 months as the body adjusts to the recent changes.

However, what fans believe they spotted in the background sent them into a nasty rant. Fans thought they saw a toilet brush on the floor among the toddler’s toys.

They began blasting Amy Slaton, calling her a bad mother for not being more mindful of what her son was playing with. They claim she is putting her son in harm’s way by allowing him to play with a toilet brush.

However, Amy quickly put her haters in their place, revealing that they were wrong. The object they thought was a toilet brush is not. It was a toy marshmallow on a stick belonging to a play camping set.
