‘1000-Lb Sisters’: Tammy Slaton Answers ‘Are You Fat’ Question
1000-lb Sisters diva Tammy Slaton‘s addressing her health in a strange way in a recent video. While she remains in rehab, she tries to keep in touch with followers on social. This latest, though, is bizarre.
When is 1000-Lb Sisters Season 4 — Is Tammy Slaton Part of It?
Already, Tammy Slaton confirmed that there’s another season of their TLC show ahead. However, she also said they haven’t filmed it yet. Yet Amy Slaton said last month that they hadn’t been renewed yet.
However, Amy sticks pretty close to her non-disclosure agreement (NDA). So, she might be sidestepping the issue. But Tammy said definitively on a recent video that season four will happen.
To date, TLC hasn’t confirmed it either. For now, Tammy remains in bariatric rehab in Ohio. She stated she planned to stay at least six months. She’s been there all of 2022 so far. But that doesn’t preclude her filming.
You may recall in the final episode of 1000-lb Sisters Season 3, they filmed at the rehab facility. They taped Chris Combs dropping Tammy off, then revealed she had to leave due to a medical emergency.
After a hospital stay and a tracheostomy, Tammy returned to the rehab center where she’s remained. But if the medical facility let them film there before, perhaps they’ll tape Tammy Slaton there for the new season.
So, why is she asking “are you fat?” Keep reading.
Staying in Touch While Far Away — Family Visits are Critical
While Amy settles into her home, pregnant with baby #2, Tammy Slaton is far away. The Slatons once lived in Dixon, Kentucky. But Amy relocated to the home she and Michael Halterman bought in Morganfield, KY.
That’s roughly a seven-hour drive for Amy to get to Tammy. Even pregnant, she’s still making the trip. SD covered a recent visit from family that thrilled Tammy Slaton.
Amy brought baby Gage Halterman to see his aunt and she enjoyed cuddle time with her nephew. If 1000-lb Sisters delivers season 4 as hinted, then we’ll also get to see Tammy made a two-time aunt when Amy gives birth.
You can see in the photo above that baby Gage stole his auntie’s diet “sodie” to sneak a sip. Tammy also stays active on TikTok. And Chris Combs and Amy Slaton give occasional updates on their sister.
Tammy also pops up now and then on videos with a pal she made in gastric rehab. And she seems to be coping well with the long-term stay.
As she entered the facility, she promised fans they’d see her thinner and said “bye b**ches”. Now, TikTok is one of the main ways she stays in touch — and is why she asking about being fat in a new video.
1000-lb Sisters’ Tammy Slaton Asks “Are You Fat”?
Tammy’s a big fan of TikTok and it’s her main way of communicating these days with her followers. One trend popular on the app is the “are you fat” challenge.
In this challenge, it’s mostly heavier people participating. The challenge starts with the question. And then drops into a song with a bass beat that says “yeah”.
The originator was DaMostBeautiful, a woman guzzling a Pepsi as the song played. Others in on the challenge like to lift their shirts and show off some curves. Others will jiggle their excess weight in the challenge.
As for 1000-lb Sisters‘ Tammy, she stays low-key on the challenge and just nods along to the “yeah”. But she and Amy Slaton have always been honest about their weight loss journey and how big they once were.
For now, Tammy Slaton might still see herself that way, but her brother Chris revealed she’s dropped more than 100 pounds in rehab. So, maybe her answer to the challenge will be different soon.
