1000-lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Can’t Get Up
1000-lb Sisters has Tammy Slaton, who has caused quite a stir among fans. Find out about her arriving with her family at their vacation destination. They all rented out a cabin in the mountains so they could spend some good quality time together. Everyone piles out of the van except for Tammy, who stays in the car. Michael Halterman helps Chris Combs set up a ramp into the house for her, but she refuses to get out of the car. She says she’s scared of the ramp and doesn’t want to risk it.
The 1000-lb Sisters siblings come to her side to encourage her into the cabin, but she wants none of it. She yells at them to leave her alone, and they ask what she is going to do? She explains that she doesn’t know. But what she does know is that she never wanted to come in the first place and that she wants to go home. Her whole family got surprised and tells her they can’t take her home. Tammy says she will sleep in the van and her sibling’s band together, trying to figure out how to help. They say the best option is to put her in a hotel with no steps or ramps.
TLC Stars Say Put Away the Camera’s
1000-lb Sisters’ Tammy Slaton is still in a bad mood the next morning when her family reaches out to her. They want her to come to take pictures with them, but she doesn’t want to. They decide to go to her hotel unannounced and try to get her to come. Once there, they prepare for yelling. The group of six siblings asks the camera crew to wait outside the hotel and not come in with them. Amanda Halterman finds out the real reason Tammy is acting out.
Amanda finds her on the phone with her ex-boyfriends Phillip Redmond. Amy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters is also mad and says, “Let me get this right. You’re talking to a dude that broke your heart and threatened you. And you got a restraining order on him, and you’re still talking to the mot***f***er.” After Tammy yells at them, they leave her there and go get a family picture together. Then they go and ride rides at an amusement park. By dinner time, they check back to see if she is willing to join them for a meal.
1000-lb Sisters: A Push for Tammy Slaton
Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters says yes to going out with her family for dinner. They come by to pick her up and let her use a motorized wheelchair. But Tammy says she doesn’t like it after using it to go to the car from her room. She says, “I understand having a wheelchair with electricity is easier on my family. Like pushing me and stuff, but in the long run, is it?” She explains that they have to lift her feet up to get them on the footpad. Chris Combs and Amanda Slaton say they love the new wheelchair. But Tammy says it feels like the wheelchair is more for them than her.

Soap Dirt shares at the restaurant, Amanda receives the family pictures from earlier. She shows the table, and Tammy says, “I know you’re not about to rub it in my face that I didn’t go.” Everyone is in shock at her. Chris explains that wasn’t what they were trying to do it was their first time seeing the pictures too.
