1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton and her sister, Amy Slaton Halterman, are back for Season 4. The TLC reality series returns in January. The sneak peek trailer is out, and it looks as if the TLC show will be even more dramatic than the other seasons.
1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton & Amy Slaton Get Hit with Reality
Fans of Tammy Slaton and her sister Amy Slaton are excited to see that Season 4 of the hit TLC reality series will begin airing on Tuesday, January 17. It has been a while since viewers have caught up with the Slatton sisters, and a lot has gone down since Season 3.
In Season 3, viewers recall that Tammy’s health was rapidly declining. Life was looking pretty dire for the 1000-LB Sisters star. Then, she suffered a frightening brush with death.
She stopped breathing due to a collapsed lung. Many fans thought she was a goner during the finale. So then her weight loss physician Dr. Eric Smith hit her with the cold hard truth. He told her if she did not lose weight, she would die, sooner rather than later.
She finally decided it was time for a change. But there have been many changes in Tammy Slaton and her sister Amy Slaton’s life since then.
Tammy is residing at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio, for the past year. The 1000-Lb Sisters star reportedly underwent bariatric surgery late in the fall and is recovering.
Slaton Sisters Endure Life Changes
Season 4 of 1000-Lb Sisters will be like all the past seasons, a lot of sibling fights, drama, and love. However, she is only starting in a different frame of mind this season. Or at least we hope so.
Fans catch up on all of Tammy’s life drama. They will also get to see what her sister Amy Slaton and her husband, Mike Halterman, have been up to.
The TLC cameras will follow Amy and Mike through their second pregnancy. As well as all the day-to-day drama of dealing with Tammy during Season 4.

But her weight loss surgery is not the only change in her life. As previously reported on November 19, the TLC reality star married her rehab fiancé Caleb Willingham in a small ceremony at the facility.
As a result, fans have many questions about relationships and marriage they hope will be answered once series returns.
Will Season 4 Tammy stay on the right path now that she is married? At this point, it is hard to say. TLC reality fans know that when it comes to Tammy, she only does what she wants.
So hopefully, her new outlook on life and love will find the 1000-Lb Sisters star traveling down the road to success.
