Young and the Restless Week Ahead Spoilers: Billy Abbott Outraged over Adam Newman

Y&R next week spoilers tell us that Adam Newman’s ready to take the reins at Jabot as Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) co-CEO. But Billy Abbott told his big brother he thinks the black sheep is a bad hire. And he won’t let it go — he doesn’t want Adam at Jabot.

While he’s certain that Adam will jeopardize the company, the prodigal son reminded him that Billy’s not worked at Jabot in years. And who doesn’t remember Billy’s awful management, including the “Jaboat” travesty on The Young and the Restless?

Spoilers suggest he won’t let it slide and pushes Jack to get rid of Adam before he even gets a nameplate on his executive office door. In fact, Billy Abbott may convene the family and call for a vote of no confidence in his brother’s leadership.

It seems he’ll go all out to make sure Adam Newman doesn’t get this job. And if Billy must take down his brother to get rid of Adam, then he might go full scorched earth. But will Billy’s scheming to get rid of Adam pull the family apart on Y&R?

Y&R Spoilers Week of September 5-9: New Johnny Abbott – Chelsea Presses

Next week, Young and the Restless fans will meet the new Johnny Abbott, recast with Paxton Mishkind. He shows up next week as his biological mother, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), presses to be introduced to him as his birth mother.

She already asked Billy and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to tell their son she’s his bio-mom. And she wants him to have a brotherly relationship with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). However, his parents aren’t ready to do that just yet.

After all, the kid’s stepdad just died, and they said it was bad timing. Yet Chelsea won’t stop pushing because she’s in some twisted depression spiral right now. Next week, Young and the Restless spoilers indicate she presses Billy about it.

This comes after she had an intense talk with Adam Newman about her recent disappointments. Y&R spoilers say she makes progress with Johnny’s dad. But will Vikki agree to what she’s asking on the CBS soap?

Young and the Restless: Anti-Diane Plots Rebounds on Perpetrators

In other weekly CBS soap spoilers, the plot against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) might come back to bite the three women perpetrating it. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) soon feel some backlash.

And that sends Phyllis trying to get one-on-one time with Jack to explain herself, per Young and the Restless spoilers. Meanwhile, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) might also feel the burn. Will her brother be mad to discover she aimed to ruin his son’s mom?

Also look for more scenes with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as he offers advice and friendship. Will that trouble Adam who’s being pushed by Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to torch any hopes Sally has of a reunion.
