Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman Tormented by Cover-up
Y&R spoilers see Adam Newman has the info in hand to burn down his dad, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). He stole Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) laptop and got the police report that proved Victor’s thugs were in Locke’s car.
And Adam confronted both Kevin and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about letting the case close with no charges for the cover-up. But The Young and the Restless viewers know he didn’t stop there. He also went to his ex.
He wanted Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to out his dad’s shenanigans on the media platform. She refused flat out and stayed loyal to his family over him. Now, it seems Adam Newman might be ready to let it go.
After a chat with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), her ex decides to take the Jabot co-CEO job. And he tells his family he’s dropping it and moving on, but most don’t believe him. But this issue’s not dead yet.
Y&R Spoilers: Nick Newman Plagued by Guilt
Young and the Restless spoilers see Nick Newman’s struggling with the fact that he killed a man. He knows that what he did was the right thing to protect his sister. But he also wanted the police to come to the scene that night.
In fact, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) called Chance to report it, but then The Mustache got his henchmen involved and needlessly complicated everything. Now, Nick doesn’t like this being brushed under the rug by pressuring his brother-in-law.
This week, he tells Victoria that he understands Adam’s perspective now that their dad repeated history on Young and the Restless. You may recall that Victor covered up when his young son accidentally killed that guy in Kansas.
Nick Newman doesn’t want that burden. So, already, he’s considering pushing for the police to treat this the proper way instead of letting the cover-up slide. Will he push Chance to take the case to the DA and let the chips fall where they may on Y&R?
Adam Provokes Nick to Betray Family on The Young and the Restless?
Today on Y&R, Adam tells his family he’s had an “epiphany” and will drop the matter. But when Nick approaches him, Adam Newman plants a seed that will fester. But is he doing it intentionally, knowing it will eat at Nick until he takes action?
Alternately, it could be that Adam just speaks his truth, but it triggers Nick. Young and the Restless spoilers suggest what he told Nick might scare his big brother. He said that Victor’s Kansas cover-up and the repressed memories really screwed him up.
He suggests it could impact his brother the same way if he lets Victor keep burying events that don’t need to be hidden. Nick Newman’s left to mull over Adam’s words today. Will this eat at him until he takes action against Victor?
We’ll see what happens. But it’ll be pretty ironic if The Mustache got Adam Newman to back off only to have Nick blow up everything instead on the CBS daytime drama.
