‘Young and the Restless’ Next Week: Nick Newman Struggles with Fatal Deed

Young and the Restless weekly spoilers see Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) struggling with a harsh reality, but someone’s a bright spot for him the week of August 15 – 19, 2022, on the CBS soap. Plus, the cops get more dirt, and something shifts for a family on Y&R.

Nick Newman Struggles with Harsh Truth Next Week on Young and the Restless

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Nick Newman, his sister, and the whole family. Now, though, he’s got to face reality. Although Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) covered it up, Nick definitely killed Ashland Locke. And that hits Nick hard.

Y&R week ahead spoilers see that Nick’s worried his dad’s coverup scheme will blow up in their faces. And the fact that Nick killed a man isn’t sitting well with him. Even though he did it protecting Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), it’s still rough on Nick.

Later in the week, The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Nick has face time with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). She’s been digging to get the truth on what happened to Ash. And when she and Nick talk, he’s very impressed.

But Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) also digging for info. Sally told him she’d reveal what went down that night with Nick, but only if he admits he still loves her. Will the prodigal son declare his feelings to get the info on Nick Newman? We’ll see next week.

Kevin & Chance Get the Goods – Y&R Spoilers Week of August 15

The legacy family circled the wagons and aren’t giving an inch to the cops on Y&R next week. Unfortunately for them, Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) on the case, and he’s a skilled digital investigator. He gets a huge scoop.

And he’ll take it to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), per Young and the Restless spoilers. They chase the lead to confirm. Meanwhile, The Mustache pulls the family together and slaps them all with an ultimatum.

He decrees that everyone lock it down and stop talking to the GCPD. He also has a loyalty test for Chance. But will the detective toe the line as Victor’s son-in-law? Later, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) finds her husband doing something hinky.

And The Mustache won’t back down or admit to anything about what happened that night. But will the cops get the proof to nail him for a cover-up anyway? And is Nick at risk?

Chelsea Pushes Victoria & Billy on Young and the Restless

This week on Young and the Restless, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) told Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that she wants to tell Johnny that she’s his biological mother. She wants him and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to know each other as brothers.

He’s taken aback but says he’ll talk to Vikki. Instead, Chelsea decides to go see Vikki herself to plead her case. Of course, the CEO isn’t open at first. Plus, she says her kids are still dealing with the death of stepdad Ash, so it’s not a good time.

But impatient Chelsea might push things and blab anyway. Meanwhile, family drama threatens to rip apart the core of Chancellor-Winters. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has her hands full and pushes back on her boyfriend.

At Chez Abbott next week, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) makes a sincere promise to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but it might be hard to keep when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) brings a journalist to town to dig into her past and rake her over the coals.
