‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Elena Dawson Has Competition for Nate’s Attention
Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will soon have competition for Nate Hastings‘ (Sean Dominic) attention. He will soon meet a pretty single woman who piques his interest. Just as the ex-lovers appear to be back on track, things get shaken up on the CBS soap opera.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Elena Dawson Must Fight to Keep Nate Hastings’ Interest
Current Young and the Restless spoiler show, Elena and Nate Hastings spending a lot of time together. From sharing meals to working at the clinic, their paths cross daily. The old spark appears to still be there. Nate said he couldn’t forgive the pretty doctor. But he sure seems to like hanging out with Elena.
Perhaps there is a chance for reconciliation. Elena wants Nate back. She has sincerely apologized for her tryst with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). And has spent a great deal of energy pining over the handsome doctor on Young and the Restless.

Most interactions between the pair end with Elena looking sad and rejected. Before Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) left Genoa City, her sole purpose appeared to be listening to her roommate’s romantic troubles. Just as the time seemed right for the couple to reunite, a bump has appeared in their path, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose).
Imani Benedict is Tough Competition on Y&R
Imani is the half-sister to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). She is spending a great deal of time in Genoa City. Imani is working with the lawyer to prepare the defense for their grandfather. Young and the Restless spoilers indicate Nate met her at Society. There was an instant attraction. The couple flirted the moment they came in contact.
However, the jury is still out on Imani. Can she be trusted? She is insistent that her grandfather’s case focuses on the Newman Enterprises connection. Even as Amanda has learned the company had nothing to do with her father’s death. It seems Imani knows more than she is letting on per Young and the Restless scoops.

Nate does not need any more drama in his life. He has been put through the wringer with Elena Dawson. Even as he appeared to be open to giving her a second chance, he was hesitant. It would be a shame for the doctor to open his heart to another woman who could hurt him on Young and the Restless.
Young and the Restless News: Too Much Betrayal to Move on for Nate
While the spark between Nate Hastings and Imani is obvious he may not be ready to move on just yet. Opening his heart comes with a lot of risks. He has been seriously burned several times in the past. To say he is unlucky in love is an understatement on Young and the Restless. He often talks about his true love Carolyn who died during their relationship.
Since he has been in Genoa City, he has had failed romances with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Elena Dawson. Currently, the actress who plays Imani is not on contract. So she and Nate Hastings may just be two ships that pass in the night. However, since the chemistry between the actors is obvious, that could change.
Young and the Restless information for the Summer indicate that Imani will be in the picture long enough to get under Elena’s skin. Perhaps the competition will cause Elena to up her game. She still appears to be in love with Nate. It is high time this handsome doctor gets some attention. What better way than two women fighting for his time?
