Young and the Restless spoilers hint Diane Jenkins is in handcuffs and Phyllis Summers may be there to see it. Even if she’s not there to see Chance Chancellor read that woman her rights, Red will hear about it and do a happy dance.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane Jenkins Accused of Murder
In an upcoming Y&R, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) gets the goods to arrest Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). While he really wants to pin Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) death on her new husband, it looks like he’s got to slap cuffs on her rival instead.
This week, Chance found a bottle of strychnine (a poison) in the room Stark had at the GCAC. The fact that the GCPD detective found it there should point to Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). But it turns out Diane purchased the bottle. Of course, she didn’t — it’s a set-up.
We’re still expecting Chance to find more incriminating evidence at the Abbott mansion. That’s because Phyllis was lurking there a few weeks back on The Young and the Restless. She took nothing — so it’s likely she left something to implicate Diane in this “crime”.
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) set her mom’s memorial in the Neil Winters’ Jazz Room at the Athletic Club. She thought by holding it there, Diane Jenkins would squirm with guilt. She’s not because she’s innocent. But Chance soon accuses Diane of murder.
Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Summers Lurking & Smirking at Memorial
As the memorial service kicks off this week, Phyllis can’t stay away. Lucky for her, they kicked Stark out so he’s not seen her there lurking. And shame on Red for watching her children suffer this way. Surely revenge isn’t worth their tears on Y&R!
But that’s right where Phyllis Summers is — in a dark wig, glasses, and hat — to blend in with the wait staff. So, if she’s lucky, she might get to see the GCPD detective slap handcuffs on Diane Jenkins. That’s because Chance gets an update during the memorial.
That’s when he gets the call from another investigator. That person tells him Diane bought the vial of toxin. No doubt, that was easy enough to set up for scheming Stark and his partner-in-crime. Already Phyllis is lurking at the funeral service.
And soon she might be smirking as well on Young and Restless — if she gets to see the cop read Diane her rights. But she may also face the wrath of Jeremy Stark. He finds out soon that she lied and didn’t leave town. So, he might kill her to tie up loose ends… (or try to!)
Phyllis Jubilant – Scheme Against Diane Worked on Young and Restless
Despite all the torment she’s putting her kids through, Phyllis is soon jubilant when it looks like their plan worked like a charm. Diane’s arrested and all is right in her world. But putting revenge above her loved ones is an awful deed. And it’ll come back to bite her.
Plus, there’s one aspect of this payback plan that seems faulty. By week’s end on the CBS soap, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) vows to stand by his fiancé. So, that sounds like Diane’s arrested this week. But Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) keep the faith.
The thing Phyllis Summers wanted was for Diane Jenkins to lose everything on Young and Restless. But with Jack standing fast at her side, that’s one wrinkle Red didn’t expect. In fact, we’re hoping to see a jailhouse wedding for these two.
Indeed, that might lure Phyllis out of hiding. Because if she doesn’t destroy Diane’s life completely, she may lose control and give it all away. Then, it’ll be her life crashing down — instead of Ms. Jenkins’.
