Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott Defends Diane Jenkins
Y&R spoilers confirm Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is grateful that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) isn’t turning against her. At least not yet. And he did that even as Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) accused her of hurting Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
We expect more of him defending his fiancé in the coming days on Young and the Restless. More than anyone else in town, Jack knows exactly how conniving Phyllis can be. And it was clear that the brawl between her and Diane in the GCAC was not all as it seemed.
There’s no excuse for Red to lie about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) being sick to lure her rival upstairs. But soon, there’s more evidence. Summer presses Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to find her mother’s “killer” and Diane is their top suspect on Y&R.
Y&R Spoilers: GCPD Makes Arrest in Phyllis Summers “Murder” Case
While Summer is certain Diane Jenkins is responsible for her mother’s death, her brother’s conflicted. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) suspects his new stepdad, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), did something to harm her.
Plus, on The Young and the Restless, Phyllis gave Stark half her estate. That leaves a money trail from the “dead” woman to the paroled felon. And that could increase Daniel, Jack, and Diane’s suspicions about the bad guy.
Soon, the blood sample the EMT mentioned comes back and shows drugs in her system. Then, we anticipate Chance shows up with a warrant to search the Abbott mansion. He’ll find what Phyllis planted. Then, Chance arrests Diane — that’s how we see it going…

So far on Young and Restless, Jack Abbott defends Diane Jenkins against all accusations against her. Yes, Jack’s upset that Phyllis is “dead”. But he’s got no reason to suspect his fiancé was involved. Stark’s a much better suspect in his mind
It’s too bad that they’re all wrong — the only one responsible for this mess is Red. Her memorial service is next week, and she’ll show up in disguise — as we predicted. And she wants to see Diane arrested — if she can work out the timing.
She’s also desperate to see Jack dump the woman on Y&R. However, it’s starting to look like Jack Abbott will defend Diane Jenkins until the very end. And just maybe, we’ll see Diane and Jack get a jailhouse wedding — even if it’s not the ceremony she envisioned.
