‘Young and the Restless’ Next Week Spoilers: Adam & Victoria Newman Told by Daddy to Play Nice
Young and the Restless weekly spoilers show Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) must bury the hatchet during the week of August 16 – 20 at their father’s request. So, can these siblings work to put the past behind them? It’s harder than it sounds on the CBS soap opera. Also, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) uses his resources to help find Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers: Adam Newman & Victoria Newman Forced to Act Like Family
Adam Newman still views Victoria Newman as his enemy – and she’s always been jealous of him. Recently, Adam tried to get his father to agree to an attack on Victoria’s new merged company. Victoria’s personal relationship with Adam is also quite volatile. However, Victor vetoed the idea and wants Adam Newman to make peace with Victoria Newman, say Young and the Restless spoilers.
But Victoria can’t seem to forgive Adam for everything he has done to their family. Plus, Victoria Newman resents how their father easily forgives Adam’s indiscretions on Young and the Restless. And Adam doesn’t like that no matter how much he chances, big sister Victoria continues to be hostile and think the worst of him. Can the two namesake kids of The Mustache ever get along?

One thing Adam Newman has in common with Victoria Newman is both want to please their father. So, next week will see Adam try to reconcile with Victoria at dad’s urging. In the spirit of family unity, Victoria does her best – as does Adam. However, Young and the Restless spoilers hint it won’t be long before Victoria Newman is back at it with little brother Adam.
However, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) found common ground with Adam Newman and they’re in a good place. So with hard work and given time, perhaps Victoria could work a lasting truce with Adam. No doubt, Victor would be thrilled to see Adam getting along with Victoria at last. So, does that mean Adam Newman scores an invite to Victoria Newman’s upcoming Young and the Restless wedding?
Victor Newman Joins Search for Mariah Copeland – Y&R Week Ahead Spoilers
Things are beginning to look dire for Mariah Copeland. She’s been kidnapped, and her due date is approaching. However, her loved ones finally realized something is very wrong with the situation. But recall, Young and the Restless spoilers show Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) still thinks Mariah stayed away of her own accord. That changes soon and he agrees she’s MIA.
Then, Victor Newman is called on to use his vast resources to help find Mariah. If he can find a drug lord that’s a Jack Abbott doppelganger, surely he can locate one pregnant surrogate… It is likely that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) turns to her father for his assistance, suggest Young and the Restless spoilers. She is desperate to find Mariah and bring her home.

Viewers are ready for some movement with this storyline. And there has been frustration with the way everyone but Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) seems to think the situation is normal. But now that Victor is on board, things should begin to happen quickly on Young and the Restless.
Spoilers hint a rescue is in the works for Mariah. However, Mariah has never seen the face of the person holding her. So, it could be that she’s saved but her kidnapper is only revealed to Young and the Restless viewers and not the other characters. Camryn Grimes said the perpetrator is revealed “soon” and there’s big action the week of August 16 – 20. All signs point to Stich Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) who’s back that week.
Young and the Restless Next Week Spoilers: Phyllis Summers Kicks Sally to the Curb
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been successful in making Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) pay for her recent scheming. Everyone now knows that Sally plotted with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) to get Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of town on Young and the Restless. While Sally lost her job and her shot with Jack, she bounced back pretty well and that’s burning Phyllis’ buns.

Phyllis knows Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) hired Sally at Newman Media. And Adam even had the nerve to taunt Phyllis about it. So, she’s on fire. She thought she wrecked the redhead’s life, but it seems she only made a dent on Young and the Restless. Spoilers say, as owner of The Grand Phoenix, she tosses Sally out. But that seems an obstacle the designer can easily overcome given her tenacious nature.
Watch Y&R on CBS daytime August 16 – 20 to see Adam Newman’s efforts to be nice to Victoria Newman and her try to be nice to her little brother for a change. This should be awkward and interesting. Can Victoria be nice to Adam for more than five minutes? Can he keep from being sarcastic and can she keep from being judgy? We’ll see!
