‘Young and the Restless’ Next Week: Sharon Tries to Shake Mariah Out of Her Funk

Young and the Restless Next Week: Sharon Newman Supports Mariah Copeland
Mariah’s been struggling to let go of her motherly instincts since Dominic was born and opens up to Sharon this week on Y&R. Soon, Mariah Copeland describes feeling physical pain being around the newborn. Sharon Newman helps her work through intense feelings. These led her on Young and the Restless to move out of the Chancellor mansion.
Now, Mariah meets with Sharon to figure out how to move on with her life. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) was recently shocked when Mariah Copeland suggested they have a baby together. And Tessa tells Sharon Newman that she’s not open to this notion right now. Tessa knows her girlfriend’s not thinking clearly. Young and the Restless scoops indicate Mariah feels a new child will solve all of her problems.

Young and the Restless this week has Tessa saying she’d focus on her career and getting pregnant isn’t in the plan for now. So, Sharon Newman urges her to be honest with Mariah Copeland. However, just as Tessa is about to say what she thinks, Mariah stops her. Then, Mariah starts babbling again about their baby plans, stunning Sharon.
Then, Sharon Newman offers a different perspective. She supports Mariah Copeland but perhaps not the idea of replacing Dominic. As a trained therapist, Sharon can help her daughter work through her difficult situation. Let’s hope Sharon’s kind words help Mariah begin on the road to healing on Young and the Restless.
Next Week Spoilers: Jack Abbott & Phyllis Summers Have Unfinished Business on Y&R
The writing seems on the wall that Jack Abbott could reunite with Phyllis. Once again, they will talk about their feelings for each other next week. Young and the Restless spoilers show that both have admitted their love for one another. Phyllis Summers is currently in a committed relationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
However, he has doubts about their future. Phyllis appears to spend more time with Jack than her beau recently. She insists she is concerned that Jack is OK on Young and the Restless. This week, Red and Nick worked together to crack the mystery of Ashland Locke‘s (Richard Burgi) past. But with that done, they have to deal with these issues on Y&R.
With their feelings are out in the open, can Jack move on? Phyllis seemed to say she’d always love him, but is with Nick. However, the soap might be pairing her boyfriend with someone new as couple swaps seem to be in the mix for Fall. With Phyllis continuing to talk feelings and the past with Jack, it can’t be good. See them find the best path to move forward as friends – but they may cross lines, as Soap Dirt reported.
Young and the Restless Week Ahead: Nikki Newman is Sick of Billy Abbott
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is obsessed with his ex-wife’s upcoming wedding on Y&R. He seems to spend all of his time and ChanceComm resources probing Ashland’s past. However, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has had enough of his interference on Young and the Restless.
Spoilers the week ahead say she pushes Billy to look at what he’s doing. Nikki questions if Billy is pining for Victoria. Or if he is jealous of her new love. It seems while he argues he is only trying to protect his children, there is more to the story. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is supportive of Billy but the big question is why, wonder Young and the Restless spoilers.
However, his addictive personality is shining bright as he can’t seem to let it go on Young and the Restless. A furious Nikki tells Billy to stay away from the wedding. She’s sick of him trying to destroy Vikki’s happiness. Can Billy finally drop it after she calls him out? Nah. Her ultimatum should push him further down the rabbit hole.
