Many think she’s being unfair to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). The word “abusive” has even been used to describe the CBS soap character. Is Mariah treating her love too harshly?
Young and the Restless Fans Say Mariah Copeland’s Too Hard on Tessa Porter
While stuck captive in a small room for weeks on Y&R, Mariah Copeland went through hell. Her kidnapping caused her to develop a special bond with baby “Bowie”. However, now that she was rescued and gave birth, things have not gotten more manageable for her on Young and the Restless.
In some ways, things are even worse for the pretty redhead. She is free physically but still tormented. Mariah is going through a myriad of emotions. But unfortunately for Tessa Porter, she is taking out all of her negative feelings on her. Young and the Restless scoops show she has angrily lashed out on at least two occasions.

Tessa turned to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for support. She shared that her daughter wants to start a family, but is simply not ready to make such a move. However, Mariah lashes out harshly at her girlfriend when she learns this information. It seems she can’t see that her partner needs to have someone to talk to about her emotions. Young and the Restless updates show that Tessa Porter is 100% supportive of her girlfriend. She understands that Mariah is not herself. She stands by and listens. She is always there with encouraging words. Even if she was not wrong, she apologized for speaking to someone else about their problems.

Mariah Copeland will soon surprise the brunette on Young and the Restless. Hopefully, it doesn’t have anything to do with having a baby, but only time will tell. Her patience may run out if Mariah continues to be obsessed with a baby rather than getting help with her current mental health struggles.
