Young and the Restless Comings & Goings: Faith Newman Returns for Cameron Drama

Currently on Y&R, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) is home from college just in time for a family crisis. Faith’s mom, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and her dad, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), are dealing with a horrific blast from their pasts.

Super-villain Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is back in town after a 20-year absence. And he’s still obsessed with Sharon. He wants revenge on her and Nick for sending to prison for two decades on Young and the Restless.

But he also claims to love Sharon — in his own sick way. This week, he gets Nick out of the way by framing him for assault. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has no choice but to arrest Nick.

Then, Sharon lands in grave danger. No doubt, Cameron has big plans for her. Also, Faith’s cat, Borgnine, tragically exits this week at the hand of psycho Cameron.

Y&R Casting News: Cameron Kirsten Limited Run

Other Young and the Restless comings and goings tell us Cameron’s only back for a short arc. His portrayer confirmed this in a recent interview. The actor said once his character killed a family pet, that cemented that he’s irredeemable.

So, he won’t be around that long to torment Sharon and her family. The point of the storyline may be to drive a wedge between Nick and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). And also to strengthen the bond between Sharon and her ex-husband Nick.

Then perhaps there will be a “Shick” reunion on Young and the Restless. Plus, it will pave the way for Sally to reunite with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). So, soon, Cameron will be gone for good.

Also, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is officially back in Genoa City to stay. But she’s in hot water and soon faces jail time for faking her death. Plus, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) and her boyfriend, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), are currently overseas.

But they will return soon. Additionally, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) is out for now. Her last mention was on June 2nd when she called from the airport.
