‘Young and the Restless’ News: Alyvia Alyn Lind Joins New Series, SORAS For Faith Newman?
Young and the Restless news reports Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman) will join the new series Future Man on Hulu. She will play the character of Lugnut. She has also been cast in the film Walk Ride Rode. Is SORAS in the works for Faith Newman?
Alyvia Alyn Lind Lands New Roles
Will Faith Newman be the next character on Y&R to face soap opera rapid aging syndrome (SORAS)? Long-time fans know SORAS is the practice of accelerating the age of characters (usually children). Although Lind has been in the role of Faith for years now, her time in the role might be ending soon since Alyvia was cast in the movie Walk Ride Rode.
She will play Autumn Summer. Her movie role is a one time job. However, Alyvia’s role in the Hulu series, Future Man, will last at least six episodes. The show revolves around Josh Futturman. He is a janitor during the day and a gamer by night. He travels through time to prevent the end of humanity.
Young and the Restless spoilers show Alyvia Alyn Lind joins the second season of the show as Josh’s daughter, Lugnet. She will first appear in early 2019.

Young and the Restless viewers have seen it many times before. A young character goes to camp, boarding school, or just to clean their room only to return as a teenager. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Noah Newman (Robert Adamson), and, most recently, twins Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) all aged rapidly. Meanwhile, it seems strange that Faith is the only character in recent history to age in real-time.

Where Has Faith Newman Been on The Young and the Restless?
Young and the Restless spoilers remind that Faith Newman was last seen in Genoa City in June. Since then she has been at summer camp. However, fall is here and school started. Nonetheless, there’s been no mention of Faith. She did not attend her mother, Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) recent college graduation.

With Nick Newman and Sharon’s wedding right around the corner, it is highly likely Faith will make an appearance. The big question is whether Alyvia Alyn Lind will be in the role or will a new (and likely older) actress show up on-screen. Regardless, it would be inexcusable for Faith not to attend her parents’ wedding.
