Counting On Michelle Duggar is feeling down after the Mother’s Day holiday. The mother of 19 is reportedly feeling blue. Michelle’s day may not have been not all that special. Especially after some of her Duggar offspring ignore Michelle.

Some of Michelle Duggar’s children didn’t just ignore the Counting On star. They even went as far as mocking their parent’s strict beliefs.

Jinger Duggar is often referred to as the Duggar family rebel and set out to enjoy the day. However, fans believe she couldn’t help but send her parents a little defiant jab.

Jinger is seen on social media taking the beautiful spring weather sporting skin-tight pants and some strappy red heels.

She and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, spent the day together walking in that California sun. A few other Duggar sisters also let Mother’s Day pass without sending Michelle as much as a social media shout-out.

Also ignoring mom was Jill Duggar. Jill spent her day with her husband, Derick Dillard taking in a bluegrass festival and enjoying all the delicious foods the vendors offered the eight-month pregnant mommy.

If the TLC star family matriarch was not feeling badly enough about her daughters ignoring her, then when her sons and daughters-in-law also snubbed the Counting On star, it makes it even tougher to accept.

So what exactly did Michelle Duggar do to celebrate being a mother of 19 children? A quick social media scan reveals quiet things on the Counting On the home front.

There appear to be no messages from any of her grown children. But, of course, this is not to say that all children may have entirely ignored their mom.

Jim Bob and Michelle still have five unmarried daughters living at home, Jana Duggar, 32, is the only adult with sisters Johanna Duggar,16, Jennifer Duggar, 14, Jordyn Duggar, 13, and Josie Duggar,12. While sons Jason Duggar, 22, James Duggar, 20, and Jackson Duggar, 17, remain available.

Counting On: Duggar Parents Continue With Strict Rules

There is a strong possibility that the children remaining at home did something to honor their mom, and it was kept low-key and quiet.

However, if the younger Counting On siblings follow suit of the older ones and fly the coop as soon as they are able. Then, it will not be long until Jim Bob and Michelle may find themselves living in an empty, quiet house.

If Jim Bob and Michelle continue to enforce the same strict rules and guidelines. They will likely find the younger siblings developing many of the same opinions and attitudes as the older ones.

These are just a few of the Duggar strict family rules their parents keep expecting them to follow. For example, they are never to dress in a revealing manner.

In addition, a chaperone must accompany them on all dates. Finally, there should be no front-facing hugs, dancing, social media, or unapproved television viewing, to name just a few on the long list.

Counting On fans often question how long Michelle and Jim Bob will be able to control the remaining children?

Fans also state they believe that it is sad they continue to rule over the children with such an iron fist in this day and age. Many add it is no wonder their children leave and ignore them in life.
