Welcome to Plathville: Ethan Plath Confronts Parents
The Welcome to Plathville fan favorite Ethan Plath recently went over to the Plath family house house. Ethan asked is parents, Kim and Barry Plath, to let him and Olivia say goodbye to his siblings alone. The Plath parents were happy to see Ethan, at first. But, they didn’t like his request. And, they didn’t want Olivia Plath near their other children. So, Barry and Kim Plath told Ethan that they wanted to talk to his wife Olivia first.
According to reports, Ethan Plath said Olivia didn’t want to see them or speak to them. Only the kids. Ethan said that if his Welcome to Plathville parents didn’t let Olivia Plath say goodbye alone, the couple would just see them all when they turned eighteen. Then, Kim started to walk towards the end of the drive. So she could talk to Olivia Plath in the car. And Ethan told her to stop. Kim argued that it was her property and she could walk wherever she wanted on it.
Next, Ethan’s Welcome to Plathville dad also started to move towards the car. And Ethan grabbed his father’s arm and yanked him back. Then, Ethan told Barry Plath that he would not allow his dad anywhere near his wife. And that Barry had disrespected Olivia Plath in the past. Which Ethan said he will no longer tolerate.
Bad Blood in the Plath Family
This confrontation was long in the making. Ethan and Olivia Plath confronted Barry and his wife in the first season of Welcome to Plathville. And asked them to allow him and his wife to spend time with the Plath children. But Barry Plath told Olivia that she had some blind spots when it came to character traits. And Kim said that she felt Olivia resented them. So she didn’t want Olivia Plath to instill that resentment in the younger kids.
On multiple occasions, the Welcome to Plathville couple tried to talk reasonably with Kim and husband Barry Plath. But things never ended well. And they finally gave up. When the second season of the show started, Ethan Plath no longer had any contact with his family. And everyone ignored each other if they crossed paths in public. Although Kim Plath continued to say she wanted to repair the relationship, Kim never apologized or extended any kind of olive brand towards Olivia.
Welcome to Plathville: Ethan Regrets Not Defending Olivia Plath
On the most recent episode of Welcome to Plathville, Ethan Plath took Olivia to see a tantra expert. The two talked about what they appreciated about each other. And about the issues they had. Olivia Plath told Ethan that she needed him to set boundaries with his family or anyone else. And that she needed that to be able to trust him to have her back. Then, she started to cry as her husband took his turn.
Then, Ethan Plath told Olivia that the thing he regretted most was not standing up for her. When Kim and husband Barry called her character into question, he said he should have told them not to talk to his Welcome to Plathville wife like that. And that he wished he could go back and change it. Because he felt like he needed a do-over. Did Ethan decide that he would create a second chance to defend Olivia? Is that why the two showed up and confronted the Plath family?
