Welcome to Plathville: Olivia Plath Sports New Ring
Olivia Plath often talked to fans about her battle with depression and anxiety. She constantly posted messages of hope for people that were struggling with the same thing. Recently, Olivia told her Welcome to Plathville supporters that she had taken a break from social media for a few days. And that she felt so blessed to see all the messages from viewers when she got back on.
Olivia said that many people reached out to make sure she was okay. Because the Welcome to Plathville fan favorite had been so open about her struggles, they worried when she didn’t post for awhile. Olivia Plath thanked everyone for caring about her and checking in on her. And she showed off her new ring. The ring was gold with a semicolon on it.
The semicolon has been a symbol that has to do with overcoming mental illness. It represents solidarity against suicide and other mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Project Semicolon brought awareness to these struggles and explained that, “A semicolon is used when an author could’ve chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you, and the sentence is your life.” And Olivia Plath said that this really resonated with her.
Olivia’s Battle with Depression
Viewers of Welcome to Plathville watched Olivia Plath try to cope with her issues during the latest season. She said that the strain from dealing with Ethan Plath’s parents and his lack of support really caused her to spiral. Olivia told Ethan that she felt betrayed when his parents attacked her character. And Ethan just stood their and didn’t defend her at all.
The Welcome to Plathville couple cut off communication with Ethan Plath’s parents because of this. And Olivia and Ethan went to counseling to try to save their marriage. On the last episode, Ethan finally stood up to his parents. And confronted them about how they treated Olivia. Between Ethan finally stepping up and the counseling sessions, Olivia Plath said she was in a better place.
But, she cautioned Welcome to Plathville followers that depression and anxiety was a constant battle. But Olivia Plath said there’s hope if you can get help. She said that counseling and focusing on herself really made a huge difference. And that reaching out to family and friends for support was essential. Olivia told her fans that she would be there for them if they ever needed someone to talk to.
Welcome to Plathville: Happiness Comes from Acceptance
In a recent post, Olivia Plath celebrated International Women’s Day. The Welcome to Plathville wife said that she wanted to show everyone her flaws. And posted pictures without a filter or photoshop. Olivia said that she’s human. And that anyone can post an edited picture that they’ve created to make them look perfect. But that she wanted to get, “real and raw.”
Olivia Plath said that she’s, “learning to embrace who I am and follow my dreams unapologetically.” She said that women were amazing and could do anything that they wanted. And told her Welcome to Plathville fans that they shouldn’t ever settle. Olivia said that she was raised to believe that she should be a wife and stay at home mom. But that she wanted a career. So she went after it.
And Olivia Plath wanted her viewers to do the same. She said that true happiness comes from accepting who you are. And following your own path.
