Welcome To Plathville: Kim Plath Changes into A Different Woman
During the Season 4 premiere of Welcome to Plathville, Kim Plath reveals she focuses on her self-care. She is going to the gym, wearing a different clothing style, and doing what she wants to do.
This includes opening a dance studio in Cairo, Georgia. Kim engages in a dance session in episode one with her daughters.
She shares with TLC viewers that it has always been her lifelong dream to open a dance studio. However, marriage, children, and everyday life have prevented her from following that dream until now.
Kim Plath reveals, telling Barry that she is moving forward with her dance studio plans. Barry says he is confused by the person that his wife is becoming.
Kim Plans Studio Opening Around TLC Reality Series Release
Late last fall, the family began filming for Season 4. So, fans believe Kim Plath started making all the plans to obtain and eventually launch her Grady Central Dance Studio.
The studio is located in the Plath family’s hometown at 123 South Broad Street in Cairo, Georgia. The Welcome to Plathville star filed for her business license on February 10, 2022.
Soap Dirt contacted the Grady Central Dance Studio and reached Kim herself. Plath stated that the studio would be open for classes in mid to late May, which coincides with the start of Season 4 of Welcome to Plathville.
However, the reality series began airing on May 17th, and currently, the dance studio’s online calendar remains empty.
At the start of Season 4, Plath is seen in the beginning stages of preparing the studio for opening day. Kim, Barry, and son Isaac Plath, 14, cleaning, join forces to install mirrors and ballet barres in the studio.
Fans believe that the TLC star coincides with her grand opening with the Welcome to Plathville airing. Therefore, they feel she is calculating the opening date hoping the show will draw fans to her studio.
Plath Family Drama Continues to Unfold in Season 4
It may be a challenge for the Welcome to Plathville matriarch’s dance studio. Cairo, Georgia, is a small town with less than 10,000 people.
Some fans feel that the TLC star may be relying too much on the family reality series to help make the studio a success. During Season 4, fans will learn more about Kim Plath’s transformation and how her husband Barry handles the changes.
The network also reveals plenty of family drama unfolding among all the Plath siblings as the season progresses.
