‘Welcome to Plathville’: Barry Plath Enraged at Kim over Divorce Talk

Welcome to Plathville star Barry Plath sounds like he has finally begun to lose patience with his wife, Kim Plath. The couple sits down to discuss the future of their marriage. However, he doesn’t like what she is telling him.

Kim Plath Talks Divorce with Kids — Barry Plath Upset

Barry Plath seems upset that Kim used the word divorce when talking to their youngest daughters, Cassia Plath, 10, and Mercy Plath, 9.

The Welcome to Plathville star admits that she made a mistake when talking with her daughters. However, she says she intended to hold an open discussion with them and answer any questions they may have.

Kim says she accidentally let the word divorce slip out during the discussion. She feels it may have upset the little girls more by doing so. When the Plathville star starts by asking her daughters how they are feeling.

They admit they are feeling upset. By the time they get around to having their talk, Barry is unhappy. He is aware his wife is talking to the children and using the word divorce.

So, he asks her why she is being so selfish. Barry explains to Kim that he is not the type to throw 24 years away. She tells him that he knows she is not happy in the marriage.

All of the relationship drama going down between the couple may soon come to a head. Barry acts as if he is growing weary of trying. At this point, this is what Kim may have been waiting all along to hear.

Welcome to Plathville: Barry Reveals Feeling Betrayed by Kim

Some Welcome to Plathville fans feel that no matter what, Barry is willing to try, but Kim is over it. They believe that she is seeing the lives that her older children are now living and longing for the same type of freedom.

One viewer points out that it almost seems as if Kim Plath is trying hard to hide a smile during the clip. The TLC father of nine says he is feeling betrayed. “One thing I thought wouldn’t ever be shaken was us. Now it’s totally shaken up. It’s just really sad. It’s a tragedy.”

She responds to her husband, saying she feels she has been hurt too much. However, Kim believes things are too far gone now to keep trying.

During the sneak peek confessional, the Welcome to Plathville mom says she feels her husband wants her to stay, knowing how unhappy she is.

She said, “He’s, if anything, saying that it’s selfish for me to want to be in a healthy marriage as if I don’t have the right to be happy or the right to be in a healthy marriage, as if I don’t matter — which is why we are where we are.”

The TLC Plathville couple continues their conversation. However, it is not getting either one of them anywhere. She tells Barry that she has been trying to tell him how she is feeling for years.

However, she says he didn’t listen. He wants her to know he is listening to her now. Barry Plath then makes one last plea during the conversation with his wife. “Life is full of mistakes, and let’s see what we can do second chance-wise.”
