‘Welcome to Plathville’: Kim Plath Packs Bags – Leaves Barry Crying
Welcome to Plathville Kim Plath and Barry Plath are splitting up. During the TLC sneak peek trailer for Season 4, Episode 4, Kim reveals that things between herself and Barry are not working. Kim admits she has left their home and is staying at the family farmhouse for the time being.
Welcome to Plathville: Kim Plath Says Marriage to Barry Plath Is Over
TLC fans saw this coming. The Welcome to Plathville family is undergoing many changes, and not all of them are happy ones. Kim Plath says she is done. She feels that there is no way her marriage to Barry Plath will work. She reveals that, at first, she felt he was making an effort to change.
But the mother of ten says that once he believed he was gaining some ground with her, he stopped trying altogether. She reveals during her confessional that she is now staying at the farm until one of their rental properties opens up.

The Plath family matriarch admits that Barry did not take the news very well. When she told her husband she was leaving, she stated he broke down and cried. In previous episodes, the Welcome to Plathville star Barry Plath reveals that he felt nothing he did was working with his wife.
She adds that she knows deep down that Barry wants her to stay with him. However, she says she believes that he wants her to stay on his terms. She also feels he has no real interest in making things work.
Kim Reveals Feeling No Connection with Barry
Kim Plath admits that she feels at this point that there is nothing left to try. She says that things are too far gone and that the emotional intimacy she needs is nowhere to be found.
Barry and Kim’s split is going to be hard on the children. Especially the kids left living at home with their father.

After last week’s episode, many Welcome to Plathville fans felt that Kim already had one foot out the door. They felt that she disrespected her husband and her children by bringing home her friend Nigel.
Does she have more on her mind that just sharing a friendship with her gym pal? They say it was apparent by the way Kim Plath was gushing over Nigel through dinner.
Is TLC’s Plathville Family Torn Apart?
Barry Plath of Welcome to Plathville claims he feels very left behind by Kim. He believes she wants him to feel jealous of her friendship with Nigel. However, he says it is not in him to be jealous.
He also stated that he did not believe he had anything to feel jealous about. However, he may be singing a different tune following the upcoming episode of Welcome to Plathville.
The Plath parents will have some explaining to do to their children. How will the separation affect the kids? It will be a period of change and adjustment for the entire family.
