5 Reasons Taylor & Brooke Should Both Dump Ridge on ‘Bold and the Beautiful’
For decades on The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke Logan battled Taylor Hayes over Ridge Forrester, but should they both kick him to the curb? He’s been waffling between them since the early 90s and fans are pretty tired of “Bridge” vs. “Tridge”. So, why not end both on the CBS soap? Here are five reasons the ladies should ditch Ridge on B&B…
#1 Taylor Hayes & Brooke Logan Could End the Feud on B&B
One big source of stress for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is the battle among their kids. Now, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) bicker constantly over their moms and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
But if Brooke sided with Taylor and dumped him, the young women wouldn’t have as much to argue about on The Bold and the Beautiful. Now that both are happily married, it’s their moms’ romantic rivalry that’s the cause of frequent fights. Dump him and the problem is solved!
#2 Ridge Forrester Waffles on Bold and the Beautiful
Another reason to clump Ridge Forrester is his constant waffling. He always seems to have more than one woman on his mind. Over the last few months, it’s been Taylor Hayes and also Brooke Logan on the CBS soap. He’s been canoodling and romancing both.
And recall when he was engaged to Brooke, he snuck around making out with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). Later, when upset with his wife, he ran around with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) on Bold and the Beautiful. So, Brooke Logan might want someone more reliable – – and so does Taylor Hayes.
#3 Brooke Needs Distance From Ridge’s Kids on B&B
Despite helping raise Ridge’s kids as their stepmom, Brooke really doesn’t seem to like them very much. She will never make them a priority. And she doesn’t want her hubby to spend too much time around them. Especially not while Taylor’s in LA.
And whether Brooke called CPS or not… she despises Thomas and would be happy if he was banned from Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Samiri) life forever. So, if she dumped Ridge, that would get her away from the stepchildren that she detests on the CBS soap opera.
#4 Taylor Wants a Dedicated Partner on Bold and the Beautiful
Last week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor Hayes cried and told Ridge Forrester to go away and leave her alone. That was after she begged Steffy to stop trying to push her and her dad to reunite.
Taylor made perfect sense as she explained she wants off the merry-go-round that consists of both her and her rival chasing Ridge Forrester. So, Taylor wants and deserves a man who will love no one but her.
And for the past three decades, Ridge has proven that’s not how he operates. He’s just not a one-woman man and never has been. That’s a huge reason for both women to walk away on B&B.
#5 Brooke Needs Someone on Her Side on B&B
A huge issue, on The Bold and the Beautiful, for Brooke Logan is that Ridge doesn’t take her side in many instances where she thinks he should. For instance, she expects him to take her side when she slings accusations about Thomas.
But when she starts going off about Steffy or Thomas, Ridge shuts down. He’ll never take her side against his kids (understandably). Yet Brooke wants someone who will. So, maybe she needs to forget him and find a man who will always have her back on B&B. Like a certain publishing tycoon stallion…
Next week on the Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge Forrester dumps Brooke Logan and chooses Taylor Hayes. But should these ladies turn the tables on him and both walk away from him instead?
