‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Taylor Tests Ridge – Puts Consolation Prize to Bed

Bold and the Beautiful has Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) turning away Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) this week on the CBS soap.

B&B spoilers have Taylor away in Aspen with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). There she ponders her future, which includes the possibility of Ridge no longer in her life.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Hayes Paints Herself in Pathetic Picture

Taylor Hayes finally realizes that she’d only be Ridge Forrester’s consolation prize if he leaves his wife. He’d leave Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) for one reason only – he loses all trust in her. If she could be trusted, as well as act like a loyal wife, he’d never leave her.

He makes no secret on Bold and the Beautiful about the love he has for Brooke Logan. This is what makes his decision to leave her so hard for the dressmaker.

Taylor Hayes came to terms with her relationship last week. The man she loves also loves her, but not enough to leave his wife behind despite how unhappy she’s made him. But this ex-wife still plays the role of a lady in waiting, and she’s miserable in this role.

So, she took stock in her life last week on B&B, and she painted a pathetic-looking picture of herself. She’s been waiting for her ex’s decision, hoping he picks her over Brooke. But it looks like this trip to Aspen materialized once she finally realized this is not any way to live.

B&B Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Waffles

For the waffling husband, this once again hinges on Brooke. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say he takes off after Taylor, following her to Aspen in upcoming episodes. But that’s after he believes he caught his wife in yet another lie.

After hearing Brooke’s voice turning in Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to CPS, he asks her about it. She denies that she made the call. That’s because she didn’t make it. But B&B spoilers have Thomas himself making that call to set up his stepmother.

Thomas’ ploy works as his father hears the recording of Brooke’s voice. But spoilers point to Thomas using his stepmother’s voice via a phone app. So, to Ridge, it sounds as if his wife called CPS.

His wife denies calling the agency. So, this has Ridge Forrester thinking she is lying. With that said, it sounds like this is the push he needed to run to Taylor Hayes.

But once he arrives in Aspen, his ex has had enough time to sort things out. So, Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say at first, she refuses to see the man she was at one time ready to welcome with open arms.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Gets Hit with Ridge Reality

When realizing that Ridge Forrester still waffles between the two women he loves, Taylor Hayes is soon hit with her harsh reality. Her first instinct was to run last week on Bold and the Beautiful, and get away from LA. If she stays everything that reminds her of her ex is there.

But she did that once before and her kids suffered consequences because she was not around. She also felt the repercussions of staying away from the family for so long.

Taylor missed out on so many family events, like her daughter’s wedding and the birth of her grandson. So, she might realize that she’s more like Ridge than she cares to be.

In the past, this ex-wife and mom left everyone she loves behind over Ridge Forrester sticking it out with Brooke. She was ready to do this again, leave LA behind until Steffy swooped in and decided to take her mom on a getaway. It also looks like Steffy wants to make sure she comes back.

Last week on Bold and the Beautiful, this Taylor Hayes saw herself as not respecting Brooke’s marriage. She realized that she was doing the same thing to her rival that she did to her years ago. So, she doesn’t want to become Brooke or a consultation prize for her ex as well.

In the preview clip below, Taylor says she wants Ridge Forrester to want her. She doesn’t want him to come back to her because his wife let him down again.

B&B Spoilers: Ridge Wants What He Can’t Have?

Depending upon how deep in thought Taylor gets on upcoming Bold and the Beautiful episodes, she might realize something else. The soap may give her some more fuel for thought on how to find out once and for all if Brooke is the one Ridge wants.

It may dawn on Taylor that Ridge sticks to Brooke like glue when he feels threatened by another man. Even when she’s done something most husbands won’t forgive, he always takes her back. But he also seems to take her back because there’s some competition around. Then he becomes very forgiving of his wife’s shortcomings.

When Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) made it clear he still loved the Logan matriarch, Ridge felt threatened. He seemed to hold on tighter to his wife, despite her sharing a kiss with the guy. Even when he found out Deacon spent the night with his wife, Ridge Forrester left but came back.

Taylor might realize that Ridge tends to pick up the pace when pursuing Brooke if there’s competition presents itself.

If he thinks Deacon or Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is moving in on her, he tends to forgive her dirty deeds and makes excuses to stay. Bold and the Beautiful had him making a lot of excuses in the past.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Will Taylor Test Ridge?

So, what if the epiphany that Bold and the Beautiful promise for Taylor Hayes, has her joining in on that game? If Ridge thinks Taylor is no longer available to him, will that be the push he needs?

So, depending on how far B&B goes with Taylor Hayes making this realization, she could suddenly do this to Ridge Forrester, and present some competition. This would offer another storyline and viewers. If for nothing else, viewers would get to see the shoe on the other foot for a change on the CBS soap.
