Survivor: Winners at War has Game Changers’ champion Sarah Lacina‘s playing for her third time. Between her Survivor seasons, Sarah gave birth to a baby boy and became a mother. But the police officer is trying out a new strategy in the upcoming season. Although her first time around Sarah Lacina was loyal, she only won the next time after resorting to betrayal and blindsides. So, what’s her plan now?

Survivor: Winners at War Sarah Lacina’s Different Strategies

Sarah Lacina’s first go at a million dollars was Cagayan, which saw the Iowa law enforcement officer remain loyal to her alliances and pay for it. Only just making it as the first member of the jury, Sarah was the 11th person voted off the island. Then, she voted for Tony Vlachos, a fellow officer in blue, who was crowned the Sole Survivor, despite him breaking a promise to her.

When Sarah Lacina returned for the second time on Game Changers, she took a more gritty approach than her previous attempt. It was much more like the strategy of Tony, who also came back for the all-returner season. Sarah found herself at the merge despite being targeted at the beginning, where she joined both power alliances. Then, she played both groups, helping each to target the other.

Sarah Lacina’s most notable Survivor move was convincing Sierra Dawn Thomas to will her an Advantage Legacy if she got booted. But turned around and orchestrated Sierra’s blindside. After she used the advantage to make it close enough to the end and still wasn’t a target. She won the season in a 7-2-0 vote.

Sarah Lacina Gives Birth Between Seasons

When the cast of Survivor: Cagayan had their live reunion, Sarah Lacina announced that she was six months pregnant. She and her fiance Wyatt Wardenburg, also a police officer from Iowa, welcomed a little boy on August 22, 2014. They named their son Knox Wade and he’s now 5-years-old.

Survivor: Sarah’s ‘Winners at War’ Game Plan

After being around the block a couple of times, Sarah Lacina is heading into Winners at War with a set plan. No, she’s not going to be doing either of the things she’s done before. Instead, she will be engaging in a completely different kind of manipulation, the psychological kind.

In recent interviews, it seems like Sarah might be playing more of a villain role this time. She may the one to watch this season.

Survivor: Winners at War airs on February 12 at 8 pm on CBS.
