‘Sister Wives’: Tony Padron Still Pays a Price for Joining Brown Family?

Sister Wives star Tony Padron didn’t start out in such a good light on the TLC show. But that was more than five years ago. Still, some viewers haven’t lost their dislike for the husband of Mykelti Brown Padron.

But today, more people are commenting about Kody Brown’s son-in-law, Tony Padron. These comments suggest there are many more who like him than don’t. These are the folks who would love to see him on the screen next season. They see Tony Padron as fun and a full-of-life character.

Sister Wives: Selling Tony Padron to the Parents

When Mykelti Brown came home with Tony Padron as her future husband her parents weren’t happy. But it’s not because of Tony himself.

No, instead they worried that Mykelti’s decision to marry had to do with her half-sister. She came home with Tony Padron along with the news they were getting married on the heels of her sibling’s wedding.

Madison Brown Brush married Celeb Brush and not long after that her sister decided to marry. So, her parents wondered if Mykelti’s half-sister’s wedding had something to do with this. They worried their daughter had become infatuated with the wedding itself.

Needless to say, Mykelti won out and her parents got together with their daughter and her future husband. This gave the Sister Wives viewers their first real look at Tony. And — some didn’t like what they observed.

Tony Arrives, Conquers, and Then Leaves

A few Sister Wives episodes featured Tony Padron navigating the wedding planning stage. During this time fans got a good look at the man about to marry into the Brown clan.

His time on the screen was short-lived. But while on the Sister Wives show fans watched as Tony seemed to go a bit wild with Kody Brown’s money.

The man about to marry their daughter invited many extended members of his huge family to the wedding. Plus a ton of friends were also among the invited. So, when the list was complete it contained the names of around 400 people.

That caused some friction for Kody who appeared to foot the bill for the wedding. So, this had fans thinking that Tony took too many liberties. It looked like he racked up the wedding bills as if he was using his own money.

With that said, this could also have to do with editing, this friction added drama to the show. While the Sister Wives patriarch looked anxious over the money being spent, TLC filmed the wedding.

So the network could have helped pay for some of it as well. But Tony came and went from the series once he married. He has shown up now and then but for only fleeting scenes.

Sister Wives: Fans Want Mykelti Brown Padron & Husband on Screen

Today fans want to see Tony as well as Mykelti and their baby daughter Avalon Padron on the show. Some viewers would love to watch Tony interact with Kody again for more drama. But others like the young couple and only want to see more of them.

Tony married into the Brown family back in December of 2016. But it still seems that he continues to get a bad rap since then. Recently when Mykelti changed one of her profile pics on social media, the fans were in awe. Fans say she looks fantastic, and you can why they say this in the photo below.

But the trolls surfaced on a few posts, and they wrote jabs about Tony. Some suggested that Mykelti is so beautiful that she could do much better than Tony Padron.

But it looks like that’s not how his Sister Wives bride sees him. It seems many of the fans feel differently as well — they love him.

Tony looks like a man who adores his wife and from all reports, he’s a wonderful dad to their little girl. This proud father posts photos of his daughter and declares how much he loves the two girls in his life. That is his wife and daughter.

So, from where many of the fans sit today it looks like Mykelti is very happy. It also seems that she’s one of the lucky ones who found her soulmate. Still, this new dad seems to carry a bit of a stigma from his first days on the show. But after almost six years of marriage, these two look happy. And the fans who follow Mykelti and Tony Padron online think they also look like best friends as well. Who could ask for more in a marriage?
