‘Sister Wives’: Robyn Brown Closes Door after Group Snub?
Sister Wives star Robyn Brown seems a bit different than her other co-wives in a few areas. But the fourth bride of Kody Brown also seems to lack something important for this group of spouses. It’s something that both her husband and his other brides have in common. That’s tenacity.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Not Like Other Co-Wives?
It sounds like Robyn Brown is Kody Brown’s one and only wife. She is in the only Sister Wives marriage that remains intact today. This is what Christine Brown suggested right before she up and left them all as seen on the TLC series.
Meri Brown and Janelle Brown still consider Kody their husband. But it’s a different type of relationship than Kody shares with Robyn Brown.
So, Robyn sits in the position of being the wife in the only full-functioning marriage he has. This likely makes her different in Kody’s eyes. But how about when it comes time to support the family?
For some odd reason, Robyn doesn’t seem to have pressure on her to bring in the extra money. But Kody and the other wives look as though they do.
Everyone Chips in Except for Robyn?
Kody Brown’s tenacity is alive and well when it comes to business ventures. This guy made sure that the Sister Wives show made it to the screen.
Then after that, he refused to give up even when the show was canceled. Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown also demonstrate this type of willpower.
They don’t call it a day when defeat seems inevitable. They go on to fix it or start something new. All the co-wives besides Robyn Brown held numerous jobs through their Sister Wives years.
Then the three original brides started business ventures that took some time to build up. Meri Brown is the queen of sales reps in the family. But she’s been going at this for years and built herself up to her high-ranking position. Plus her B&B seems to be going strong.
While Christine also sells apparel as Meri does, she’s also involved in another gig. She and Janelle promote a product and are building their business day by day.
These sales gigs work well for this famous family. It seems their fame grants them hundred of thousands of followers. These folks seem to make up a good deal of their customer base.
Sister Wives: Why is One Wife Given a Pass?
So, Kody and three of the women he married put a lot of energy into reaching their financial goals. But then there’s Robyn Brown. Unless she works a business no one knows about, she pretty much is a full-time housewife.
Robyn Brown had only one business venture known to fans. But this came to a screeching halt a few years back. Her online store, My Sister Wife’s Closet, still has a message pop up that they’ll be back soon. That message hasn’t changed in a couple of years.
Recall, Robyn Brown called a meeting about the online store a few seasons back. A clip of this meeting played out on a Sister Wives episode. She seemed indignant when she learned that the online store was her baby.
Robyn Gives Reprimand – Store Closes?
The other wives and Kody helped her launch it. But it sounds as if My Sister’s Closet was meant to be hers to run. Robyn seemed to reprimand her co-wives for not spending time working at it.
She didn’t sound as if she realized that she was expected to run the business. But Christine made it clear. She told her co-wife she had no time as did the other wives.
They were busy running their other gigs. Whether the closing had anything to do with this or not, it shut down right after that. Still to this day, it remains down.
But that was the last time that Robyn appeared to do any kind of work that offered extra income for the family. Right now the Sister Wives patriarch, Meri, Janelle, and Christine offer fans personalized videos for a fee.
This seems like a no-brainer and extremely easy for bringing in the extra cashola. But Robyn Brown is the only Sister Wives bride who doesn’t do these videos.
So, many TLC fans want to know why Robyn Brown can slide through life without a money-making venture and Kody’s other wives cannot. This husband now seems to live in a monogamous marriage.
So, he may feel that it’s his duty to support his wife. But that might be true if this was the 1950s. Today both parents usually go to work.
