Sister Wives Preview: Meri Jabs Robyn on New Episode? (VIDEO)
Sister Wives star Meri Brown gives Robyn Brown a bit of information that she probably doesn’t need to hear as she struggles with what went wrong on the TLC series. Robyn’s struggle probably doesn’t get any better once Meri points something out to her on Sunday night’s episode.
Sister Wives: Meri Brown Reverses the Jealousy?
Robyn Brown and Meri Brown seem to realize that when Christine Brown left, this was just the start of the end of their plural marriage. This scene was filmed before Janelle and Meri left. It’s no secret that Robyn was a source of jealousy for all three of Kody Brown‘s other wives. All three confessed this on the show.
Still, this season, Robyn didn’t seem to realize she caused any problems. She asked a question in this week’s preview that would suggest she didn’t have a clue about any of this. She looked into the Sister Wives cameras very seriously. Then she said, “I need a reason why my family got blown to smithereens.”
Sister Wives fans picked up on the jealousy years ago, as soon as Robyn showed up on the screen. Later, in different interviews, Meri Brown, as well as the other two original brides, confirmed this. They confessed that they harbored jealousy for the fourth wife from the beginning.
But now it looks like Robyn may get a taste of her own medicine. This week, Meri’s chitchat points something out to the youngest wife in the Sister Wives clan.
Meri Reminds Robyn Brown of a Favorite Mom
While Meri Brown and Robyn Brown discuss the demise of their Sister Wives family, Christine Brown’s name comes up. It seems Robyn worries about no one coming to their house for the holidays. Then her Sister Wives co-wife, Meri, adds a blurb.
The first wife shares this with Robyn in the next episode. She said, “Christine has left, and so many kids gravitate to her.” Then she reminds Robyn of what Janelle Brown‘s boys had to say about where they will spend holidays. Meri repeats what the boys said, “Whatever Christine does for Christmas or Thanksgiving, we’ll do that.”
Fans see the irony in this. Christine Brown’s jealousy of the relationship her Sister Wives husband had with Robyn was no secret. Now it looks like despite Christine leaving, Robyn can’t win over many of the kids.
Sister Wives: Pointing This Out to Robyn…
In a roundabout way, Meri Brown points out that many of the kids prefer Christine to Robyn. While Christine had nothing to do with this conversation, once she sees this scene, fans surmise it will likely give her a little sense of retaliation.
Some of the Sister Wives followers suggest that Robyn can now experience feeling left out. She can see what it is like to be thrown over for a favorite. In this case, it’s a favorite mother, not a wife.
Meri often uses cryptic messages to pass along sensitive information. But there’s nothing cryptic here. She suggests that the kids “gravitate” toward Christine. She makes this suggestion to Robyn Brown who feels pushed aside by the other co-wives and kids.
So, it looks like Meri Brown had a need to point out to her co-wife that many of the kids are drawn to Christine. It appears the viewers will learn just how Robyn Brown reacted during the new episode of Season 18 that airs Sunday, September 17 on TLC.
