‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Rewriting Marriage History to Shift Blame?
Kody Brown of Sister Wives’ resentment continues to build throughout Season 17. He tries to understand what when wrong between him and his now ex-wife Christine Brown.
However, his recollection of past events doesn’t align with hers. She has distinct memories of their past issues. But fans feel Kody is reinventing his as they go along on the TLC series.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Reacts to Being Called a “Coward”
Kody Brown says he can’t find it in himself to let his anger toward her go. This Sunday’s episode shows Christine saying her final goodbye to the family. During Kody’s confessional, he tells the TLC cameras that his ex blamed him throughout his relationship.
In one instance that made him particularly bitter, he says she called him a coward. He says she accused him of being many things. Being a “coward” was one of them.
However, he says the one thing he has never done is “quit.” Fans feel he is grasping at every straw to shift the blame for his failed relationship from himself to Christine. What do you think?
Fans Call Out TLC Star as “Selfish”
Sister Wives fans are calling out him for saying he never quit. Over the years, fans say they can recall him quitting on his relationships with all three of his first wives at one point or another.
It’s come out on the TLC show that he hasn’t slept with Meri Brown in years. And he refuses to be intimate with Christine. Janelle Brown tried not to comment. But the other three note the only one he’s bedded regularly is Robyn Brown.

Kody says he no longer has romantic feelings for them. He also accused his ex of turning his children against him. However, he does not consider that a lot of his kids are adults and can form their own opinions. Many feel like he’s acting as if he’s an innocent bystander in her decision to leave him.

Sister Wives: What Does the Future Hold for Kody?
TLC fans continue to ask what the future holds for Kody Brown and his wives. The preview clip for Sunday shows Janelle and Kody will have it out.
Janelle says she is unsure of her future with him. Her attitude may have him afraid he may soon lose another wife. Many viewers are pulling for Janelle to follow Christine’s lead and leave him as well.
They also think that if Janelle should leave him, it could bring him a new set of problems. They feel Janelle is a significant asset to him financially. If he were to lose her as well, his financial future could become rather grim.
Christine Brown recently shared with her Sister Wives fans that she has begun filming in her new Utah home. This leads some Sister Wives fans to believe Season 18 is a go.
However, many say they are unsure what the reality series may look like moving forward. Many fans say they would be happy to see a TLC spin-off with Janelle and Christine.
