‘Sister Wives’: Janelle & Christine Steal the Next Season
Sister Wives stars Janelle Brown and Christine Brown gained the fans’ trust with their straightforward honesty when it comes to this TLC show.
Now, it looks like they both leave Kody Brown in the dust of Coyote Pass. But it also looks as if they’re about to steal the show away from the leader of the pack.

It’s old news now that Christine Brown left Kody Brown. But the news that Janelle Brown is flying solo these days just bloomed. Still, unlike her fellow Sister Wives co-star, Christine, Janelle hasn’t made an official announcement.
If she’s severed ties, keeping it under wraps is understandable. Most likely it’s due to the TLC contract. Janelle and the other Sister Wives family members sign non-disclose agreements with the network.
So, if they’re filming her departure for Season 18, she needs to remain quiet. But then along comes Christine’s daughter Gwendlyn Brown. She pretty much spilled the beans on Janelle. Gwen confirmed that only two wives remain with her dad. Namely, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown.
With that said, it looks like the folks behind the scenes of this TLC series might want to perk up their ears. They could think about what the fans have to say today.
Janelle, Like Christine, Takes the Reins…
A recent Soap Dirt poll gives a quick snapshot of what the Sister Wives fans want out of the TLC series. It looks like the two women who dared jump ship are sought after big time.
Even if it turns out that Gwen made a mistake. There’s still a lot to say about wife number two. Janelle Brown’s independent attitude this season was applauded in living rooms across the nation.
So, the fans love that she’s pulling away from Kody just as Christine Brown did as they watch Season 17 roll along.
Still, even if it’s not official that she’s left Kody, her attitude sure looks like it’s going in that direction. This means that the Sister Wives family will look very different soon. If it’s up to the fans they will be very different, on the screen anyway.
Sister Wives: Fans Know What They Want
So, the recent poll, posted below, shows what the fans of this reality series want to see going forward. The viewers don’t seem interested in Kody and Robyn, or even Meri. The five adults together didn’t fare well either in this poll.
As you can see from the numbers, it was a landslide for Christine, Janelle, and their kids to star in the show. What the viewers want to see isn’t what Kody might hope for.
92.7 percent of the 150 votes went to Christine and her counterpart Janelle Brown. No one, not one person clicked the option of Kody, Robyn, and Meri. Even all five of the Sister Wives’ spouses together only came in with 7.3 percent.
Sure, there are many more viewers than the 150 people who chimed in to vote. But this is a fair subset of the overall fans. It’s rather shocking to see such an overwhelming number wanting these two wives alone in the next season with their kids.

But that wasn’t all, many suggested a spinoff with these two Sister Wives stars. This would keep Kody and his remaining two wives totally out of the show. They even suggest titles like “Sister Lives,” “Escaping Sister Wives,” “Leaving Sister Wives,” and “Surviving Sister Wives.”
While the upcoming season, Season 18, features all five spouses, fans say these two ladies will still steal the show. Many viewers claim they will only watch to see how leaving the Brown family unfolds for these two women,
So, there you have it. It’s likely that Sister Wives won’t ever be the same. But if it is going to change, the fans speak out with their ideas of what they’d like to see as a new TLC show offering.
