‘Sister Wives’: Janelle’s Fans See Her Smile but Don’t Buy It
Sister Wives celeb Janelle Brown seemed to endure the biggest upheaval in life out of all four wives since the family moved to Flagstaff. She took downsizing to a new level as she’s living out her dream in an RV.
The second wife to join the Sister Wives clan made it clear that living in an RV was totally her choice. But some fans still wonder.
Sister Wives: Happy-Go-Lucky Janelle Brown Raises Questions
Veteran fans of Sister Wives show know that Janelle Brown always wanted to live in an RV. When the Brown family first decided to move to Flagstaff, the wives scurried to find rental housing.
It was Meri Brown who jokingly said she should buy an RV and take turns parking it on the property of her co-wives. The wives, other than Meri Brown, had leads on housing or secured rentals by that time in Flagstaff.
It seems Meri Brown’s joke of a suggestion made Janelle Brown a tad bit jealous, or so Janelle said at the time. Janelle Brown explained how it was always a dream of hers. So, there’s no debating RV living is what Janelle wanted. But seeing this Sister Wives mom of six living “off-grid” in an RV, which is her description of her new lifestyle, upsets some fans.
The Glue Holding It All Together?
Janelle Brown seems to be the only spouse who continues to back Kody Brown in his endeavors. Even when the other three wives poo-pooed his one big house plan, Janelle stayed on Kody’s side.
She backed up the Sister Wives patriarch on his plan, which didn’t pan out. But it wasn’t from Janelle’s lack of advocating for her shared husband’s idea. No, the other wives went thumbs down on the plan.
Now with this RV home, she also continues to throw little tidbits out there about Kody Brown. It sounds as if he’s been very helpful to her when it comes to off-grid living.
Janelle Brown’s rental home was put on the market, so she had to move. With the Sister Wives Coyote Pass property just sitting there, she saw the chance to live her dream and take advantage of free rent. After all, they own the property.
Many of the fans aren’t buying Janelle Brown’s reported excitement about RV living. But she continues to keep up the appearance as if she’s living the dream. So, she looks happy, but again some fans don’t think she is.
Sister Wives: Happiness Wears Thin?
Janelle Brown posted a family photo recently. It consisted of her standing with a bunch of the Sister Wives kids at a family reunion in Utah. With Kody missing from the photo, fans once again got on the father of 18 about his lack of spending time with his family.
But Janelle Brown didn’t speak to those Sister Wives critics. Janelle is also the only wife who hasn’t thrown some mud towards Kody’s way on the show. In recent seasons Meri Brown, Christine Brown, and Robyn Brown criticized Kody Brown. But not Janelle. Or at least not to the extent of jaw-dropping criticism.
Kody Brown made it clear several times throughout the show’s seasons that he is the Sister Wives’ leader. Viewers also watched as the co-wives did things they didn’t want to do because of Kody’s leadership. One of the more notable events was leaving their Vegas homes and moving to Flagstaff.
Janelle has six kids, but three still live at home with her, or they did as of April of this year. So that makes four people in this one Sister Wives RV. Fans see this and then take a look at the home Robyn Brown and Kody purchased together. Janelle’s entire RV looks as if it could fit into the great room of that house.

Today some fans believe that Janelle living in that RV was something Kody suggested. So, these viewers believe it’s a case of Janelle just being Janelle and appeasing her shared husband. To many fans, it looks as if she followed through with a suggestion from the family’s leader, despite Janelle mentioning her dream of RV living years ago.
Money Is The Root Of All…
It’s no secret that financial problems haunt the Brown family. Their lack of funds remained a theme all through the decade of Sister Wives shows.
So, many fans believe this glorified camping lifestyle helped with the family’s finances. But fans want to know why it should only fall on Janelle to economize.
The other wives all have luxury homes scattered throughout Flagstaff. Although, Christine just recently put her home on the market. But there’s no info yet on her future housing plans.
Sister Wives: Walls Closing In On Janelle Brown?
So, it appears that Janelle Brown feels cramped in her Sister Wives RV. She’s recently offered hints about the lack of space in her RV. Some of her posts, along with a few recent photos seem to suggest she could use more room.
Janelle also recently shared what she did for sewage disposal. Maybe the scene from the video above reminded her it should be left to the experts.
Kody Brown accidentally sprayed himself with raw sewage attempting to empty another RV they used on a road trip years back. So, Janelle said she had a choice of how to rid the sewage from the tanks where her RV is parked in Flagstaff.
She can haul the camper once a week up to a place where RVs pull in to empty their sewage tanks. Or have a truck come out to the site and do it. Even with money problems, it sounds like the extra few bucks for home service is worth it. So Janelle went with the latter choice.
Now that Janelle has tried this lifestyle for several weeks, maybe it’s not all that she hoped. With the hot Arizona August sun beaming down on her metal home on wheels maybe the idea will soon tarnish a bit for the second wife of Kody Brown? That is if it hasn’t already.
Some Sister Wives fans think Janelle Brown’s happiness is bound to wear thin. But, so far you’d never know it from what Janelle Brown posts for her Sister Wives fans these days, she’s always smiling.
