Sister Wives Janelle Brown surprised her fans with an interview but this time the shoe was on the other foot as she took charge. It was Janelle who took the role of the interviewer asking the questions. She’s not the one interviewed, which is out of the norm for this Sister Wives recent graduate.
Despite wearing the interviewer hat, fans learned a lot about this Sister Wives celeb. Especially when it comes to what stimulates and angers her. Apparently, it’s the same for all people and it has to do with the four seasons. She’s learned what the change in seasons does to the body’s system.
Sister Wives: Another Year of Education Under Janelle Brown’s Belt
A few days ago Janelle Brown announced that she furthered her education as a new graduate. She told her fans that she completed a year’s worth of studies at the Joyful Belly School of Ayurveda.
But many Sister Wives followers raised their virtual eyebrows and scratched their virtual heads. That’s because not too many knew anything about this topic. It seemed very few could even wager a guess at what Janelle accomplished with her new certification,
So, Janelle interviewed the founder & director of the school she just finished. His name is John Immel. She wanted to share with the Sister Wives enthusiasts out there how these studies changed her way of thinking.
While it sounded very informative, some fans can’t help but wonder if this is possibly an advertising gig for Janelle Brown. As a new alum of this school and a television celebrity, who better than to plug this learning institution.
A Bit of Advertising Goes a Long Way?
Janelle Brown does offer $999 scholarships for Joyful Belly to her fans from Sister Wives. While that seems extremely generous of her, you find out during the interview that the school is the one offering these freebies.
So, is Janelle plugging this school as part of paid gig or is this something she’s so enthused about she wanted to pass along? Quite possibly, it’s a little bit of both.
In a nutshell, Ayurveda is ancient and while it might sound complicated at first, it’s fairly simple and very interesting. Our bodies adjust to the seasons and we crave the foods needed when going from one season to the next. This sounds like one of the cornerstones of these teachings, according to what the newest grad from the Sister Wives had to say.
Sister Wives: Just Like a Hibernating Bear?
John equated the food cravings with what happens to a bear that gets ready to hibernate for the winter. The bear eats foods that build a fat layer so it will sustain the animal in nourishment through the season. It also keeps the bear warm during the cold winter.
The Sister Wives co-wife also shared how nature has a way of providing. Fruits and veggies ripen at a time when the body needs what it has to offer for nourishment. Mother nature provides the right foods during the individual seasons.
Janelle and John talked about how the early summer crops of berries, cucumbers, and watermelon provide the body with what it needs after the winter.
The Big Flush
These fruits and vegetables are natural diuretics and they help flush away the fat that you’ve stored in the winter. Because some toxins are stored in fat, different produce items help flush away those toxins. This Sister Wives student seemed to get a lot out of these teachings.
You have to admit, this makes a lot of sense. As Janelle Brown said, once you learn what Ayurveda is all about, you understand why you tend to crave certain foods at different times of the year.
Anyway, it sounds as if Janelle learned why anger rises during certain months and why people don’t want to bake brownies in June. She also talks about stimulation and how your brain tends to feel spacey after a long bout on the computer.
Better yet, she now knows the best foods to stave off these symptoms, or at least the foods that offer some relief from them. So what does this new education get her? It allows this Sister Wife the title of an Ayurveda counselor.
