Whitney Thore reveals that she has a confession to make. She and the Frenchman didn’t meet on a language app. They actually met on a dating app. She admits it was the same app she met her ex-boyfriend Lennie Alehat on.
One day during the pandemic, Whitney was “heartbroken and bored.” So, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star set up a profile on an international dating app. And that is where she met her French boyfriend. She feels this is the “beauty of the digital world in the 21st century.”
Two years after Whitney first met the Frenchman, she is still in “amoureuse,” which means “in love” in French. She may not have met her French boyfriend on a language app. But the TLC star has learned a lot of the language while dating him.

Whitney Thore admits that he contacted her first on the international dating app. But it took them a while to meet up in person. Fans saw that he wasn’t able to make it to America. So, she made the trip out to see him first.
The TLC star explains that the first thing she noticed about him in real life was his attractiveness. She is “so physically attracted” to him. It was a “relief” for her because she had already fallen in love with him before she saw him.
Whitney’s favorite memory with him was when they went to the Louvre. It was an art museum the My Big Fat Fabulous Life celeb has always wanted to visit. So, seeing the Mona Lisa in person was an item off of her bucket list. She says it was a “really nice day together.”
