My 600-lb Life star Ontreon Shannon revealed that he dropped 300 pounds. But his weight continued to hold him back from his dreams.

Ontreon talked to Dr. Paradise about his goals and his dreams. He shared that back in 2014, he was able to lose 300 pounds. But he has since gained the weight back. Now, his current weight holds him back from the goals and dreams he wants to achieve with his life.

But Ontreon Shannon struggled to stick to the diet. There were many foods he wanted to eat but were off limits. Plus, he struggled with motivation to exercise.

In addition, Dr. Nowzaradan urged his patient to get skilled psychological help. This was to deal with the “root” of his problems with food.

On the show, Ontreon talks about a lot of the losses he had in his life. There were many close people in his life who passed away. He feels like this caused him to struggle with his weight loss. After he lost 300 pounds, he shared that his aunt passed away. But there was only a 14-year difference between the two of them.

He seems saddened by this news. He says that her heart stopped. Next, on My 600-Lb Life, he says he can’t figure out how to “compartmentalize” the problems in his life. He wants to do this to help with his health journey. We reported that he got so low, he planned to commit suicide. Thankfully, he didn’t follow through and do it.
