Married at First Sight: Zack Freeman Tells Reason for Leaving Michaela
During the beginning of MAFS, Zack’s relationship with Michaela went South fast. One of the reasons, according to Michaela Clark, was because Zack Freeman left her. She said she woke up in the morning and he was “just gone.”
She said him leaving her made her feel like he abandoned her. Because of this, she packed up and left the Married at First Sight apartment. Zack didn’t agree with what she said but he said he didn’t get to control the editing.
Zack Freeman said the reason he left was that their dogs didn’t get along. He slept in the extra bedroom with his dog and then he took her to daycare in the morning. He said that Michaela had told him before that he should never wake her up under any circumstances so he left without waking her up.
MAFS: Michaela Clark Says Zack Doesn’t Care
During the reunion episode of Married at First Sight, Michaela Clark said her husband never cared about her. She said he played her and didn’t care about her at all. Even so, Zack tried to apologize, but she flew off the handle and told him to shut up.
After she told him to shut up, he clammed up – even when host, Kevin Frazier, got Michaela to calm down. Zack Freeman said “No comment” and let the episode keep going. Married at First Sight viewers said they weren’t sure who was telling the truth about what.

One thing people didn’t like was that Zack led Michaela on by having her come to his house after Decision Day. They were together for days – and even intimate during this period of time. But Zack Freeman said on Married at First Sight that he had her there to make her feel better.
Married at First Sight: The Pointing Fingers Game
Both Zack and his ex Michaela couldn’t help but point fingers at each other, Soap Dirt remembered. They both said the other was a liar and Married at First Sight fans couldn’t figure it out. With editing on the show, it’s hard to determine what really happened and what was a fancy editing job.
One thing viewers can agree on is that the experts need to do better next season. Season 13 was a disaster and didn’t result in a very successful season. Even though two couples said they wanted to stay married – that didn’t last long.
Many Married at First Sight fans said they would stop watching if the experts didn’t do a better job. But some people are addicted to the train wrecks. Hopefully the experts will also be mindful of pets in the future.
