Michaela talked to MAFS expert Dr. Pepper Schwartz about Zack Freeman’s actions. She said they really hurt her – especially since he knew how she felt about abandonment. She told Dr. Pepper he left her at the retreat even though she begged him not to leave.

Going back to the night of the retreat, Married at First Sight viewers remembered the incident differently than Michaela Clark. She kept saying she pleaded with him to stay and he up and left. Fans said it looked like she was gaslighting her hubby Zack Freeman because she first told him to leave.

Once he went to leave, she ran after him, grabbed his suitcase, and put it back in the room. And she yelled at their castmate, Ryan Ignasiak, to stop him from leaving the retreat.
