Let’s unravel Season 13 Episode 6 Out Of The Comfort Zone And Into The Sea.

Johnny Drifts Away On Married At First Sight

It’s day five of marriage for our Married At First Sight couples and Myrla Feria’s red flannel pj’s. Each couple is doing a planned activity and later they all meet up for a boat ride, a game of “never have I ever”, and some paddle boarding.

Married At First Sight‘s Johnny Lam is eager to get on board but fails to turn his board and gets carried out to sea. The others watch half amused and half concerned as a boat passes nearby but not near enough to cause him danger as ominous music plays.

Johnny manages to make it safely back to the boat where his Married At First Sight castmates cheer. Before the drift away drama the group played “never have I ever”. Questions ranged from lame to one night stands.

Everybody was shocked on Married At First Sight when Bao Huong Hoang mad chugged water to admit she had one. Of course cheating came up and both Rachel Gordillo and Myrla Feria admitted guilt. Myrla had already told Gil Cuero her story but Jose looked like he was punched in the gut.

Earlier at a group dinner, Johnny threw out the question if anybody had consummated the marriage. It was no all around but Ryan Ignasiak points out that absent couple Michaela Clark and Zach Freeman have probably sealed the deal. The couples started talking about things they may not know about their partner. The subject of politics come up on Married At First Sight and Myrla and Brett both say differing opinions could be a deal breaker. And Brett has a feeling her and Ryan vote for different parties.

Brett Isn’t Impressed With A Manatee

The Married At First Sight couples all venture out to do different activities. Jose San Miguel Jr. is excited for bike riding until Rachel admits she isn’t sure if she knows how to ride a bike. In the end she does just fine with a little help from Jose.

Rachel is still a little leery of rushing into joint checking accounts on Married At First Sight, in spite of thinking it’s just fine to marry a stranger. She also wants to continue her foreign travels. But Jose suggests she stick to New York or Vegas. And brags of his excellent credit score.

Rachel isn’t really impressed with his good credit karma on Married At First Sight. Later she also tells Jose that if they haven’t sealed the deal in bed by a certain time it could be the beginning of the end.

Ryan and Brett go kayaking on Married At First Sight and Brett admits that she’s terrified of sea life. A large manatee just happens to cruise right by her and she doesn’t even want to look at the sea cow. But she has a bigger worry about their political differences pulling them apart and wants to have that conversation.

On Married At First Sight, Johnny Lam and Bao Huong Hoang take to the friendly skies on a parasail. Johnny fares much better up there and doesn’t drift off into the clouds. Bao is still a little salty about his criticism of her snoring.  And also admits that she’s not a fan of showering everyday. Johnny on the other hand loves to jump in the shower 2 or 3 times a day. So this is kind of a stinky red flag for him.

Myrla Isn’t Down With Dogs on Married At First Sight

Gil and Myrla hit the beach and she’s quick to complain about sand in her sandals on Married At First Sight. Gil surprises her with a cool treat of gelato. First she questions whether it’s vegan and then complains it’s too chocolatey.

Anyone see a pattern here? Next she whines about not wanting to change her last name. Gil is super patient on Married At First Sight, but you can see her diva act is wearing on him. They also disagree on the number of kids they want to have.

Later on Married At First Sight, Gil brings up the subject of his dog. Myrla makes her pursed lips face and says she doesn’t really want to be involved with taking care of an animal. Gil is pretty upset with her attitude and tells her it makes him not even want to get to know her more. So there you have it, there’s plenty of trouble in paradise as the couples wrap up and head back to Houston. Till next time!
