‘Married at First Sight’: Johnny Lam Leaves Bao After Honeymoon?
Married at First Sight husband Johnny Lam had high expectations for his wife, but Bao seems to think those expectations are too high. Johnny said they never really had a honeymoon part to their relationship, and he told Bao that he was moving out of their MAFS apartment.
Married at First Sight: Johnny Lam & Bao Split Right Away?
Johnny from Married at First Sight said he and Bao interact with the world totally differently. He kept trying to get her to live in the moment, but she couldn’t quite make that happen. In fact, it seemed like the only thing they kept saying they truly liked about each other was that they were both Asian.
Married at First Sight hubby Johnny Lam told Bao he usually ran at this point in the relationship. The problem was how upset Bao got over him teasing her about her snoring. He thought it was petty, but Bao said she had major insecurities over this problem.
After dealing with the honeymoon, Johnny of Married at First Sight said he had to be honest with Bao. He told her he wasn’t going to stay at the Lifetime apartments. He wanted to go home and confirmed that he did not live at the apartments during the taping of the show.

High Hopes for the Happy Couple
When Married at First Sight fans first saw him see his new wife and Bao see her new husband, they thought they would be perfect. They even picked the same colors for their tea ceremony. They had a lot of things in common, and most people thought that would be enough.
Even though they had a lot in common, there was a lot they didn’t agree on. One of those things was something many people think is pretty gross. Married at First Sight hubby Johnny told Bao that he wanted her to shower every day.
Bao, on the other hand, said she wanted to be lazy sometimes. She said she went to the gym sometimes, and by the time she got out of the gym, she didn’t want to shower. Johnny asked, “Is it so hard just to rinse off?”
Married at First Sight: Warning Bells Sound for Johnny
After the whole personal hygiene issue, Johnny Lam from the TV show Married at First Sight couldn’t quite keep it together. Even before then, he said that kissing Bao was like kissing his sister. Despite their troubles, many of the other castmates thought they would be the first ones with bedroom activity.
Since he said he worried about her being clean “down there,” it’s unlikely they ever got active in that way. He said if he were dating Bao, he would have been long gone. Married at First Sight fans split on the issue with some on Bao’s side and some on Johnny’s side of the issue.
Some fans of Married at First Sight said Johnny Lam wimped out on the marriage too soon. The other fans said they would have run out as soon as she asked him to let her “be her dirty self.”
Bao Feels Judged
Married at First Sight wifey Bao told her husband she felt judged. She told him that the issues might seem petty to him, but they’re big things in her mind. Bao “felt judged” because Johnny Lam was judging her, and he was about ready to jump ship.
However, it seems like he wanted to wait until they got back to the apartment to let her know he wouldn’t join her there. Fans of Married at First Sight said it’s weird to see yet another guy that didn’t move into the apartments during a season of the show.
