‘Married at First Sight’: Johnny & Bao Mocked for Weird Kiss [Pic]

Married at First Sight husband Johnny Lam said he and Bao Huong Hoang were trying to find the spark and they had their first kiss.

Lifetime fans said the kiss was super weird, and it didn’t look like anything was sparking.

Johnny from Married at First Sight said it felt like he was kissing his sister when he kissed Bao. MAFS fans winced when they heard him say that and felt bad for his wife. Later, after they’d gotten a little closer, their affection looked even more painful.

They went in for a kiss, and Johnny Lam put his lips out super far to kiss his wife. Bao didn’t seem to mind it, and one viewer said, “Maybe she’s into ducks or something?” Especially after learning that he learned about bedroom activities from Japanese cartoons.

Married at First Sight viewers also said, “His lips poked out like that looks ‘childish'” and gave him a dig because of how he’d said Bao Huong Hoang acted childishly. Whatever the case, fans said it seems like they are really trying to force the relationship. Others think they are putting in the work and are going to be able to make it last.

MAFS Houston: Bao Huong Hoang Tries to Be More Mature?

After Johnny Lam of Married at First Sight‘s comments to Pastor Cal Roberson, Bao seems to be trying to act more mature. She isn’t quite as bubbly and giggly as she was, but she still does some of those things. Viewers said she shouldn’t change who she is to make her husband feel attracted to her.

One of the things he said he didn’t like about her was that she hopped around when she was happy. He also didn’t like that she looked up at him “like a child” and said he wasn’t attracted to that. Bao said she felt like he thought her joy was disgusting.

Even so, it seems like she’s trying to push beyond that and be more attractive to her husband. In fact, she’s even willing to watch Japanese cartoons to get things going if necessary. Some Married at First Sight viewers said she’s really working hard to get this guy to notice her.

Viewers said they thought Bao would be the one to tank the relationship. Now many people are on her side and say that Johnny looks like he’ll be the one to make the relationship go downhill. After all, he just wants her to be perfect and do everything the way he wants things.

He wants her to be seductive and make him want to turn the lights out. He wants her to stop giggling and acting bubbly and a long list of other things. Fan of Married at First Sight said it doesn’t seem like he’s willing to make any changes.

Bao Huong Hoang has had a crush on him since college, as reported on Soap Dirt before. However, so some people think she’s still trying to make her crush like her. In fact, she keeps talking about how she feels so glad that he’s her husband. Even so, it does seem like Johnny Lam is asking for a lot from her.

Bao said she married the biggest nerd, and she likes it. She said she hates how he makes her feel – but she also kind of enjoys it. Fans of Married at First Sight said it seems like she’s more infatuated with her husband than in love.

Whatever the case, they do make a cute couple when they aren’t fighting. Or when Bao Huong Hoang isn’t overreacting, and Johnny Lam isn’t whining about something.
