‘Married at First Sight’: Johnny Lam in Tears Over Bao – Is It Over?
Married at First Sight husband Johnny Lam broke out in tears over his marriage to Bao. The Lifetime hubby admitted that he might not have been ready to enter into a marriage.
Married at First Sight: Johnny Lam Absolutely Upset
Johnny Lam of MAFS said he worried he wasn’t ready to marry. After only two weeks into the relationship, he thought he’d made a very serious mistake. He said, “Now she’s f**ked because I’m f**ked” and it seemed like he felt most terrible because he failed his marriage.
Married at First Sight hubby Johnny said he really was trying, but he wasn’t sure if they would make it. Bao said she felt grateful for how he picked up things for the housewarming when she felt stressed. And that she thought they made a very good team.
Johnny Lam looked like he felt a little better about things. But it didn’t take long for Bao to get back into her head and start feeling bad about things. Viewers said it was hard not to feel bad when your husband said he didn’t have an attraction to you.

Bao and ‘Bath Gate’
One of the things people do agree with Johnny Lam over is “Bath Gate.” In fact, most viewers agreed that they would not be okay with their spouse washing so little. The strange thing some people noted was that she never looked dirty.
Despite Johnny fussing with Bao over her bathing habits, she always looks great. And it isn’t because she’s bathing more because she basically told him to get over it. On their first night back at the apartment, she refused to hop in the shower – even though her hair looked a little wild.
Married at First Sight viewers said it’s no wonder Johnny doesn’t have an attraction to Bao. Even though fans pretty much agree on this, he said he has other concerns. Some of those do seem like things they can work out over time.
Married at First Sight: Johnny Stuck with Ex He Ghosted
Fans said Johnny Lam’s situation is a nightmare-type situation. When Bao walked up the aisle, he couldn’t believe his eyes, and it didn’t look like a happy expression. It turns out that there was more than just a passing knowing each other as well.
Married at First Sight wifey Bao brought up a “friend date” they had during college. He said he didn’t remember too much and acted like things were good. But she dug back through her text messages and showed that he ghosted her.
Bao said if he hadn’t ghosted her, they might have both been married. Johnny Lam looked like he felt embarrassed but didn’t seem like he regretted his decision back then. Fans said they would have been horrified if someone they didn’t want to date back then was at the end of the aisle.
Did the Experts Know?
Some Married at First Sight fans think the experts knew Johnny went on a date with Bao in college. Many viewers said it would be too strange if they didn’t have any clue. Even so, some people think it could have all been a very weird coincidence.
Pastor Cal Roberson just had a book come out and listed him as the top TV relationship expert. Fans said they would only half agree with that statement. Many people think he is a little old school with his advice no matter how much “marriage ain’t for punks,” as he says.
Viewers don’t have much more hope for the couples in the next Married at First Sight season.
