‘Married at First Sight’: Chris Collette’s Decision Day is Now — Done with the “Good” Wife
Married at First Sight viewers know Chris Collette‘s been more than patient but he’s done. His bride, Alyssa Ellman, has been against their union since she saw him at the altar. Now, he’s ready to finally call it quits.
Married at First Sight’s Chris Collette is Fed Up
Despite the onslaught of rejection since saying “I do”, Chris Collette kept trying to find a way to work things out. What doesn’t help is that Alyssa Ellman keeps skirting the issue.
The bottom line is that she’s not physically attracted to him. She said just before the MAFS wedding that she didn’t want someone with “snaggle teeth”. And Chris’ teeth aren’t straight.
Aside from that, he’s sweet, gainfully employed, and cute. Invisalign is something that can take care of her one stated issue. But Alyssa’s not willing to overlook any flaws.
The other Married at First Sight pairs talk about her attitude on the series and also on the after-show. It doesn’t look like anyone is Team Alyssa. He’s fed up (at last) and tells Pastor Cal Roberson that he’s deciding now.
Their situation calls to mind Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice on season 10 where he talked nonsense and skirted issues. And he also refused to own up to the lack of physical attraction. Mindy tried til the end but it seems like Chris is done being gaslit.
Alyssa Ellman Says “Good Person” while Screaming Profanity at MAFS Production
Alyssa Ellman’s mantra that she’s a good person spawns more memes by the day. When she thought cameras weren’t trained on her, she screamed at MAFS producers.
That time, she said she was a “f—ing good person” and she’d better not come off otherwise on TV. Then she says it again chatting with Pastor Cal and Chris Collette on tonight’s MAFS.
Chris revealed on Married at First Sight Afterparty that his bride refused to get to know him. She jammed a producer between them on the flight to Peurto Rico. There doesn’t seem to be any effort based on aired footage and Chris Collette’s statements.
When Alyssa was on Afterparty, she claims Chris “disrespected” her by telling her family the truth. She implied she would be “mean” and “hurt his feelings” if cameras were on when she talked to him.
Yet, Chris also confirmed that she wouldn’t talk to him whether cameras were there or not. She walked out of Afterparty when Keisha Knight-Pulliam asked why she went on the show.
After she left, Olajuwon Dickerson said what she’s doing and saying are “bullsh*t”. Despite her antics, Chris kept trying. Now he’s done. And would any MAFS fans blame him?
Decision Day Comes Early for Chris & Alyssa — He’s Done?
In the promo for this week’s Married at First Sight, Chris Collette tells Paster Cal that “this is my Decision Day”. In this chat with the expert, Alyssa tried to say that she’s not into sharing a bed with anyone ever. Weird…
Then, when Chris said she’s there for other reasons than to be married, she started with tears. And she said he triggered her. Will she make it through this chat without walking out as she often does?
Meanwhile, MAFSFan confirmed that Alyssa and her husband Chris split before Married at First Sight Decision Day. And they don’t move into the apartment back in Boston. You might recall that she first tried to get Chris Collette to let her have the place alone.
Then, she suggested in front of others that they split the time there. Also, Chris’ unhappy wife keeps saying she wants to be part of the “experience”. But what she made clear is that she wanted to hang out with the other ladies and party.
As for Chris, he is having none of it anymore. One of the other husbands claimed that Alyssa only stayed in Puerto Rico because it was freezing back in Boston. So, tonight could well be the last of Chris Collette and the “good” wife.
