Mama June: Road to Redemption fans are anxious to catch up with June Shannon and family when WEtv drops the upcoming season in May.
There has been a lot of changes in Shannon’s life since the previous season. Especially in her love life. Fans are very curious to see where Shannon and her ex-Geno Doak stand since his release from prison.

But, will Geno Doak make an appearance or two in the upcoming season of Mama June: Road to Redemption? June and Geno ended their relationship on a bad note. The former couple got themselves in a ton of legal troubles due to their drug addiction.
It was a real mess for the From Not to Hot star. She even admitted to blowing through around $150K during the last year of her and Geno’s addiction.

Doak and Shannon’s trainwreck of a relationship nearly cost June everything she had, including her family. Following Geno’s arrest, he got sentenced to 16 months of jail.
Luckily for Mama June, she got off with 100 hours of community service and time in rehab. Finally, with Geno out of the picture, Shannon began to regain control of her life once more per The Things.
WEtv Star Undergoes Self-Care Makeover
Mama June underwent $40,000 in a self-care makeover which included a second round of extensive dental work for the reality television personality. June also confirmed that she and Geno Doak were no longer together, and she began seeing someone new.
It now seems that her new man Justin Stroud and her ex-Geno have quite a bit in common. Justin got arrested on a warrant for drug charges.
Reports say that Justin is now out of jail and reunited with June Shannon. But, Geno Doak is also freshly out of prison. It appears the prison time has done Geno a lot of good in many ways.
In fact, Geno Doak is looking very fit and healthy. Doak is back on Instagram and reveals that he is doing very well. He also claims he is on good terms with the Shannon family.
Geno was asked by curious fans if he and June are still together and Geno states, “Nope.” However, some close to the Mama June: Road to Redemption star feel that Shannon and Geno may still have deep feelings for each other.
They also feel that if either made a move it is a possibility that could end up back together. Especially since the Shannon family is okay with Geno.
Mama June: Explosive New Season
So, will Geno Doak turn up on the upcoming season of Mama June: Road to Redemption? Well, that remains a mystery. Although Shannon is promising a lot of drama and crazy emotions in the upcoming season. June reveals that there is a lot of things that happen no one knows about.
Really, anything is possible and fans are not completely ruling it out. But so far no one from the Shannon clan, nor June or Geno are talking, just yet. Shannon’s fans would love to see the rehabbed, clean and sober she and Geno interact, even if it is just for closure for both.
